(they both hosts torrents and direct links that can die at times) ... Another alternative for VNs are random foreign sites, like this French one: Les derni (I never found a depositfiles link that didn't work on it) ... That's for VNs ... For anime, you can still find it on https://animetosho.org/ ... and there are some backups of nyaa's magnet links here: https://nyaa.pantsu.cat/page/100 and https://sukebei.pantsu.cat/ (sukebei seems to go down often ... also, it doesn't have recent stuff that was uploaded this year I think, be warned that the backups are still work in progress so site errors and down-time are expected) ... There's also http://www.anime-sharing.com/forum/ but it uses direct links and you need to download from uploaded, depositfiles, and so on, I use it myself often when I can't find stuff elsewhere ...
