  1. I just finished Maid Youbi wa H ga Ippai, getting one of the good Endings! :)

I believe it may be the best one, because during the game I was able to maximize all Mimuru's Attributes, especially the strength of her love. :o

I really appreciated this VN: it's full of humor, the subgames are funny and the erotic scenes are sweet and exciting at the same time. There are also many funny references to some anime, as Combattler V, Yugioh and Gundam... for example Yuna's puppy is called Master Asia! :D

I did not expect it, but the romantic scenes are numerous and often moving, also thanks to the lovely music.

The protagonist who is hit by a truck while saving Mimuru and surviving after having a vision of her, extending her hand and calling him before he goes to Heaven... Well, it made me cry... :o

I also unlocked the other Endings in Kana... although I already knew them, I cried a lot and I can't wait to restart the game to get the Best Ending again... :)

In Pure Doll I unlocked many new scenes and discovered some additional details regarding Hina... :o

She's not exactly an android, she was born in an artificial amniotic fluid and has an immune system and physiological functions identical to those of humans... the Doctor who created her calls her "Doll", but I think Hina may be an artificially created human...

But regardless of definitions, in the Best Ending thanks to love she will become a real woman... Even the Doctor, usually cold and not very polite, will say that she is no more a Doll but a real woman... :o

    I really love Hina...

Soon I'll start to play Crescendo. :) I already know the plot and the characters, but I never finished it before... :)

  2. In these days I finished both Pure Doll and Kana... :)

What can I say about Kana?

Kana is a legendary VN, well known also here in Italy thanks to a variety of videogame stores importing many VN from Japan and America.

Since many years I already knew the story of Kana, the characters and the Endings, but I found the courage to play it in its entirety only in these days...

I'm a sensitive person and I get emotional easily: Kana managed to make me cry many times, not only in the advanced stages, but also shortly after its beginning and during all major events...

Thanks to the Walkthrough I immediately got the Best Ending.

    Warning: SPOILERS!

It's interesting to see how in this Ending the desires and hopes Taka experienced over many years will come true: Kana has become stronger, physically and psychologically... she will be able to live autonomously without depending completely on him.

However, in this Ending I believe that in a certain sense their roles may be reversed: now is Taka the weaker sibling/lover, the frail one that desperately needs to remain close to his beloved little sister...

Taka, who often told Kana to not cry and was always there to dry her tears, the same Taka who couldn't cry even in the most painful moments, finally cries when Kana leaves their home...

    I really loved this VN...

Today or tomorrow I would like to restart it, making the choices that I would do if I were the real protagonist... although I know that by doing so I would risk to reach a different and more tragic Ending...

I already know that I'll cry a lot and I'll suffer for days... :(

    About Pure Doll...

Well, first of all I'm glad and proud I was able to buy this sweet VN directly from Japan... :)

As many already know, I'm in love with the female protagonist, Hina, so i played Pure Doll with all my heart and I get the Best Ending! :o

To translate it I can't use the usual methods (AGTH, ITH, Translator Aggregator or VNR) due to various features of the program: obligatory fullscreen, .exe file linked to the installation process, impossibility to find the right h-code...

So I'm compelled to display the text in the VNR Game Wizard and from there copy it to Quick Atlas... it works, although everything crashes every 10 or 15 minutes...

Excluding the technical problems, I've found out how much Hina is even more sweet and lovely than I imagined... Her little yet constant daily progress in her evolution from android to a human being with real feelings and a soul of her own is truly touching...

I smiled, really moved, when she began to smile, blush, open herself and speak with a voice full of emotions, becoming more and more fond of the protagonist with each passing day, until they fall in love with each other...

The Happy Ending made me cry like a baby, I'm not ashamed to admit it...

Soon I'll finish Maid Youbi wa H ga Ippai, a romantic yet humorous VN, with multiple Endings and a couple of entertaining subgames. :D

  3. Sorry for my long absence, I had my usual health issues... :)

Thanks for the advice, I visited their forums, but unfortunately it's little frequented... So I signed up: I found by myself the answer to the majority of my doubts; for a couple of other questions I sent them an email, to which they responded with speed and patience. :)

    And I DID IT! :o

I managed to order my beloved Pure Doll and another Old School VN from comshop, along with other items from Yahoo Auctions!

The shipment should take place very soon... :)

  4. After a lot of hesitation, I decided to try to buy the VN I love from Getchu using Shopping Mall Japan for direct purchase and delivery.

I barely know a few words and phrases in Japanese, so I'll have to search a translator like Visual Novel Reader or similar, but I'll worry about that when I'll finally have the game in my hands.

I'd like to ask those who have already used SMJ some information and advice, because it's the first time I make such a purchase process and I've a great fear of making regrettable mistakes.

Well, I read the detailed instructions about the payment and I think I'll have to opt for PayPal (hoping the rechargeable one works) because my usual Italian Credit Card is obviously not provided among the ones they accept.

I doubt I could use a relative's Visa or Master Card, even if they agree to lend it to me, because the registration on the site would be in my name, but the Credit Card belonging to someone else.

Here's the first question, I hope it's not silly or naive...

Obviously the payment will be calculated in U.S. Dollars, but my PayPal is charged in Euros.

Will the calculation of currency change be automatic? Or will I have to charge my rechargeable PayPal in Dollars?

Second question: I can't understand if the Cash Deposit is automatically counted in the total amount of my first expense or has to be paid separately...

I thank you all for giving me a bit of your precious time and I apologize for writing such a long and grammatically improvable post... :o

  5. I'm late, sorry... Happy Valentine's Day anyway! :o

Until a short time ago I've always considered the Valentine's Day a sort of "shopping festival"...

Unfortunately, it's almost always the case...

Recently, out of curiosity, I looked for some information on the life of this Saint and I was moved by an anecdote about Him. :(

    A true utsuge.

Valentine, at that time bishop of Terni (Italy), united in marriage a young Christian girl named Serapia and the pagan Roman centurion Sabino: at first their love was hampered by her parents but, overcome their opposition, it was discovered that the young woman was seriously ill.

Then the desperate centurion asked Valentine to come to the bedside of the dying young woman and asked him never to be separated from his beloved.

The holy bishop baptized him and then united Sabino in marriage to Serapia, after which they both died... together forever in their absolute Love...

  6. I've been absent for a couple of days, I'm the one who should apologize for not replying and thanking sooner... :)

Indeed, the loli-kingdom is a great place to hang around. But please do not judge heroines on their loli-affinity alone, you may miss some great stories with deep impact.

I understand what you mean and I totally agree with you. Yes, I have a fondness for Loli Heroines, but I try to keep an open mind and to appreciate almost all kinds of VN / Eroges... :o

And about my age... Well, I know some VN fans even older than me: they have families, are good people (no maniacs or molesters) and they don't have any of my health issues.

I believe that age doesn't count, as long as a person lives her passion peacefully, without hurting anyone... :)

I hope to have been able to to explain correctly my thoughts, my English is very rusty and I'm afraid of being misunderstood... :D

  7. Maimu is an eroge published by Squadra D. Someday I'll upload the trailer on Youtube.

The story and the main character are a bit unrealistic, but the girls are beautiful and well characterized. :)

And of course the romantic VN published by Symphony a few years ago, Ojousama Kumikyoku! :o

    Here's the trailer:

And... don't worry, I'll not repeat again and again and again Pure Doll, I don't want to bore you all! :D

  8. I'm sorry for the excessive off topic, I had no idea that my simple introduction could create so much ruckus.

Thank you all for your kind welcome! :)

Please, let me greet my compatriot JigenZ in our native language... :D

Ciao Jigen, grazie del benvenuto, è una splendida sorpresa trovare qui nel forum un altro italiano (a maggior ragione se fan di un personaggio fantastico come Jigen! :) )

[Hi Jigen, thanks for the welcome, it's a wonderful surprise to find here in the forum another Italian (even more because you're a Jigen's fan!)]

  9. Maybe it's a matter of taste, but to me that video looks like a hymn to blind hedonism and vulgarity... imho.

I don't get angry if someone criticizes me or judge me without knowing me directly, because I tend to be a peaceful person and I respect freedom of opinion.

Also, if I were to get overly nervous, I should immediately call my cardiologist! :D

Well, here in Italy it's almost midnight, so it's better for me to prepare to go to bed.:)

Oh, when I was a child, I loved the Hasbro game Operation (in Italy has been renamed "L'Allegro Chirurgo"... which means "The Cheerful Surgeon") thanks for letting me remember it! :)

  10. Let me understand: I must read in English, mentally translate in Italian and reply in English... :)

Am I mocked due to my age and the fact that I try to downplay my health condition with a bit of humor?

Well, I myself am auto-ironic about my condition... :) I spend my days between home and hospital, maybe I should scan my medical record as proof that I don't lie.

I want to sincerely thank those who supported me... and, sincerely, I don't feel any resentment for those who may have misunderstood my words or even thought I was a failure of a man... :)
