Tsukihime

  • Language: English

This story is about a young boy named Tohno Shiki who, after experiencing a traumatic accident, wakes up in the hospital with the ability to see lines and cracks in every surface and being. These lines, when traced with any sharp or blunt edge, will be permanently cut. As he is forced to see these lines everywhere, Shiki is distraught until he meets a mage girl who gives him glasses that allow him to live a normal life.

Years later, after living in a relative's home, the death of his father has him summoned back to the mansion he left years ago. There he must learn to live with his younger sister and two maid girls.

One day Shiki's life takes a turn for the worst when, on the way to school, he meets a blonde woman and he's overcome with the urge to kill her.

My second eroge ever (though I skipped the ero parts since I personally don't like how it's drawn). Played this as soon as I finished F/SN. Also a pretty good one (though I get an old feeling from it so not really one of my favorites). I really like the story and the characters... and that's the only good things I have for it hahaha... But that's just me.

Are you and me actually the same person....or do we just happen to be playing the games at the exact same sequence. LOL

Can't really remember the third eroge I played but it must have been something less interesting than Fate/ stay night and tsukihime. The tsukihime game is the game to play if your into supernatural plots and stories as well as failing harem hero's that are especially badass in a fight. The anime made me reread the V.N cause of how wimpy and scared the hero was in the anime. Not like in the novel. The story routes were very nice....it's an old game compared to other new V.N's so theres not much to look forward to in terms of beautiful cgs. But, like I said, if harem hero's with weak constitution and badass fighting skills is your taste then Tsukihime is the one to go with.

It's also my #2. What a great game.

One of my good friends was saying he hated the music in Tsukihime because it was too simple. I oughta smacked that bich up.

Yeah, you should. The songs were great. It made me a bit sleepy but the songs are definitely a great part of the Tsukihime game.

P.S I recommend reading Fate/ Stay Night as well. Its very good.

You know for some reason I get the feeling I played this game without the music. Not sure... I remember If it was this game but there was something I had to play without music because the music files was in the wrong format with the version I downloaded... or something... maybe. It was a while ago but I remember I was listening to three completely out of place sped up songs when playing it since I didn't know how to get the music to work. So I'm pretty sure I have no idea what the music sounded like actually.

Gaaaaaaaah!! (

That's extremely unfortunate for you that you couldn't hear the music!! The music was a big part of what made the game so interesting! The music that played around the mansion set the mood just perfectly, the sped up version for the school was an exact fit, the tracks that played for the supernatural parts was creepy, and the list goes on. I know this is just my opinion on the BGM, but I think you were cheated out of the experience by your pc lol.

Meh, I couldn't even get around to finishing the anime (more than half done), much less start the visual novel. I found the Melty Blood manga and other Type-Moon projects to be 1000x better. Anyone know how the anime compares to the visual novel? I'm guessing: Tsukihime visual novel MUCH > Anime

There is no Tsukihime anime.

Yes, I just registered to say that.

Just so people don't rage (too much):

There is no Tsukihime Anime

An occasional protest against the inability of the Tsukihime anime adaption to satisfactorily recreate the entire game in 12 episodes. Commonly cited reasons in the anime are missing or "watered down" fight scenes, character redesigns (most notably the Akiha DVD cover), and explanation being left out of the last scene. This denial of the anime's existence was almost guaranteed to kick up a shitstorm at any given day as other fans, particularly fans of Arcueid - whose route was featured in the anime - come to its defense. At least it isn't yet another power level discussion. However, the official manga follows the anime's plot (Arcueid's route) and it is more loved by /a/ as they see the story setup could be ideally worked into a much better Tsukihime anime.

But thanks for registering anyway!

I just found out that tsukihime has troubles with multi-core processors and will crash every 10min. To solve that annoying problem you've to change the processor affinity. At first you've to open the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete). Then move to the processes tab and look up for the process named tsukihime. Now right-click on the process and select set affinity. In a single dual core system you'll see CPU 0 and CPU 1. Tsukihime will run without problems as long as only ONE cpu's selected.

You started with anime ? Oh dear Lord, have mercy... Just forget that atrocity and play the game.

    • Let us live

      on this land so arid.

KARAKARA. It is the sound of aridity. It is the sound of dry asphalt and sandy winds. It is the sound of relentless sunshine, as well as the sound of a withering race.

The "Age of Dusk." It is a time of senescence for the human species, during which hybrids known as the "Others"—those who are human, yet not—exist in great numbers. On the windswept barrens of a land without moisture, a small gathering of people make their living in a world they no longer know. Down a stretch of highway and far from the heart of the town are two such people who run a small diner. To them, the circumstances that reshaped their world is of far less concern than the number of lunch boxes they can load into their delivery vehicle. After all, leaving customers hungry is not good for business, and business keeps them fed. Day after day, they occupy themselves with the endless work of their store. However, the comfortable monotony of their daily lives is turned on its head when they discover a large suitcase by the roadside on their way home from deliveries. Lying on the suitcase, unmoving, is a young girl with pink hair...

Though parched, they keep each other company,

and while hollow, they fill each other's voids.

      So shall they live

      on this land so arid.

      NOTE:
The goal of this game was 1) to preserve the history of the site and the people that came and went, 2) to get me start with developing RPGM games. Don't expect anything more than your casual indie RPGM. This game used a lot of stolen materials, which I will credit in the final document accessible upon clearing all three endings. Edelweiss Garden is free of charge and ONLY posted on erogegames.com (hosted on MEGA). This is a parody game. Events and dialogues are exaggerated and not implied to be realistic. Anything said by anyone in the game is responsible by said fictional character, and no one else.

The project took me one year (a few months if grinding religiously) to complete. Had to compile dialogues for 80+ characters, edit another 80+ sprites for them, photoshop and make transparent of over 100+ images just so they don't show the background in the game, cut and loop tons of BGM, and edit those 3 EDs.
It was a lot of work, but it was also a helpful experience~
    • Onogami Shigehiko, a teacher at an all-girls school, is a man of love - of love towards beautiful young girls - and to this day he has managed to keep this hidden from those around by playing as Mr. Serious.

From the fear of losing his beloved career as a teacher, he has had to abstain from crossing the line with any of his students until now.

...Indeed, until now, until he met Kagarino Kirie, a mysterious girl of stunning beauty - it is this meeting that finally derails him into crossing that line, a line that was better left not crossed.
    • Kusanagi Shuuma is just an ordinary boy...
Until the day he is suddenly abducted by a mysterious girl named Iris. She reveals to him a hidden secret about his birth...
Coursing through his veins, Shuuma has a special kind of blood – vampire blood passed down from his progenitors. Iris is known as a "ringleader" vampire who also has this ancestral blood. Her destiny: to "awaken" Shuuma.
In his attempt to flee her clutches, Iris pounces on him to finish the embrace! Luckily, at the very last moment, the keepsake ring given to Shuuma by his mother emits a blinding light that interrupts her vicious attack.
Shuuma breaks free and escapes from Iris, but soon realizes something inside him has gone amiss. Could he have become an odd, partially-turned vampire? Now, many girls are entering his life from many directions and complicating the situation. To make matters worse, he is plagued from an overwhelming impulse to suck...
      ...their blood.
    • The secret feud between humans and vampires is now a thing of the past; Peace has been achieved under the beautiful vampire queen Cara's rule.
However, there are protest against this peace between humans and vampire, chiefly coming from Cara's uncle, Gram, who despises humans and treats humans as livestock. Gram's prohibited business of human trafficking was brought to light, and under Cara's hands he was purged. Narrowly escaping with his life, Gram swore revenge against Cara even when "bugs" were eating into his own skin. He plots his revenge and infiltrates Japan, the land where the peace between humans and vampires is to be sealed forevermore.
Using the forbidden manipulation of "bugs", Gram targets the heroines supporting Cara. Secretly infiltrating their body with these "bugs", the heroines are subjected to a slow and ghastly brainwashing and 'training' without them even being conscious of it. And as these strong heroines guarding the vampire queen falls one by one, Cara's noble body itself becomes vulnerable to the wicked hands of revenge...!?
