After listening to what he had to say, it seemed that "something" had been caught in a trap, and they wanted to consult about how to deal with it.
Though he found it troublesome, Akinao couldn't go against the village chief who had been looking after him since he was stationed here, so he headed to the scene.

"That's right. In any case, we can't just leave this demon as it is. Akinao, you need to do something about it."
 
Thus, Akinao was ordered to take charge of managing the captured creature.
