You can buy clothes and weapons using Magic Stones found in chests or dropped by enemies. Clothing items and weapons each have their own abilities. You can also customize hairstyle, face and body shape.

There are multiple branching paths in each stage and within the stages themselves. Events and enemy placements are random, even in the same spot. The game features replayability elements. If you are defeated, you can restart from just before the battle. If you find a battle impossible to win, you can restart from the beginning while carrying over some of your gold and levels.
