During this time, the words of a Renaissance-era French prophet captivated many young minds. Within the seemingly endless monotony of daily life, his prophecy—suggesting an inevitable end—may have resonated as an expression of guilt and anxiety over past prosperity. But what if someone were to give form to that anxiety and guilt? What if entities used that fear as a passage to invade our world? In July 1999, an incident begins at North High School in central Tokyo. Is the power to manifest abstract concepts into reality something that belongs to humans, gods, or demons? Everything begins with the suicide of a girl chasing the memories of her past life.

The protagonist Iijima Ryousuke is affiliated with a small pornography studio called "Ubai", and works as an actor, cameraman, and other miscellaneous jobs. Ubai's theme is normally about netori and netorare, which is the center of the photos and videos they shoot.

However, beneath their pornography production, Ubai also illegally markets prostitutes to members exclusively which is also themed around netori. Now, women with various financial problems seeking to solve it came to Ubai. Ryousuke's job under the official Ubai is to film their promotional videos and sell their bodies to customers and train these women as well, if needed.
