Help with shin koihime musou

I just downloaded the game from disc to my Alienware laptop. No issues, installed direct x and checked the compatibility on the disc menu and no issues were shown. Every time when I try to play the game nothing pulls up. I’ve tried setting everything to Japan and nothing will pull up. I’m using windows 11 if that helps. Any help appreciated.
