Rance 2 Technical Problem

Hi, everybody, first of all, sorry for my bad english

 

So i've downloaded Rance 2 and experienced technical issues when running it. i've changed my regional settings to japanese and i've done these steps so far

 

1.I extracted both files, then i got this error msg from winrar

2.I ignored it and somehow it extracted succesfully, and this is the contents of the archive

3. when i try to run the exe file, i got this msg

4. i followed instructions from here and renamed some files

But the error msg from step 3 still showed up, did i do something wrong? or is there something wrong with my PC?

Dumb question, but have you tried to restart it and start it again? A lot of times that error comes up because you are running too many programs at the same time.. try to kill some of your programs and run it again.

 

If that doesn't work, try disabling DEP and trying it again.

Try that and see if it works for Rance 2

But another problem comes, after the opening scene, this screen show up and i can't play the game

Weird. Do you still have the parts downloaded? Try reinstalling it. This time, do these steps:

 

1. Extract the files.. ignore the error messages.

 

2.) Rename every “___” or so to “ランス０２” line in your game folder.

If there’s a “GA”, “BA” or “WA” at the end, don't forget to put it after ランス０２.

 

ランス０２GA for example

 

3.) Start the game with in Japanese Locale mode.

It Works great!, thank you desi, you're amazing . It seems the problem show up when i skip the opening scenes.

 

i hope there would be no more problems come
