Yukkuri Panic Escalation won't let me save when trying to play the non-arcade version

Installation seemed to go okay, only thing I changed was the installation directory (switched it over to my secondary drive instead of OS drive), and yet whenever I try to save it just doesn't let me. No matter how many times I click on an empty box in the save menu, nothing happens. Any ideas as to what the issue could be?

I figured out the problem, posting here in case anyone else encounters something similar.

 

I forgot to change my locale to Japanese, so it couldn't find the intended save directory. Uninstalling and reinstalling with the locale changed fixed this issue. Also, as far as I can tell, you have to install the game onto your OS drive. Secondary drives won't work.
