Koi to senkyo to chocolate problem when starting up.

An error message came up when I tried to run the game. and I can't read moonrunes

 

I did use the locale emulator.

Being in Japanese Locale mode is not enough. Use Locale Emulator and set it to run in Japanese mode with Administrator rights and it will run every time when you press Yes to continue.

 

-extract 18禁ゲーム) [101029] [sprite] 恋と選挙とチョコレート 初回限定特装版 (iso+mds+rr3).rar

- mounting and install

- extract ksc_updater.zip to where you install

-extract つ (NoDVD EXE)(101029) 恋と選挙とチョコレート rev3.rar to where you install

- start with "start.exe"

- it ask serial number , open your serial.txt . copy paste....

 

Or try to reinstall it whit admin rights

I've done all of the above, and same thing happened. Does it have anything to do with windows 10?

A lot of older pc games are not compatible with Win10. Try using XP compatibility mode.

Have you read the comment section on the game page? A lot of people also run into various issues when they trying to start this game. Maybe you could find the solution there.

There's your problem. When I play it, I click KoichocoHook.exe...

@LanThief(HUN) It's just a suggestion as the OP never stated which.exe he used to try open the game. Perhaps it was the wrong .exe. Or he DID try the correct one but it didn't work an he came here to ask for advice. We have to wait for him to clarify that bit...
