Bishoujo Mangekyou -1- error

I am using Win 10 and have installed the English Patch.

 

Everytime I start the game it gives me an error log

[ERROR] ??????? : Avg_CharaParam

[ERROR] ???????: Avg_CharaParam[n]

 

I've read on this forum that someone fixed it with a reboot, but no such luck for me so far.

I think the issue may be related to the text. There should be a file labeled "pm2fixed.ttf" please go ahead and try to install it.

 

If you still have the .rars the game was unpacked from I would recommend deleting your current BishoujoMangekyou folder and unpacking them once more. It may help to move the folder to the desktop or some other conspicuous location.

It's a locale issue. You have to set your system locale to Japanese.

I got away with checking on the UTF-8 setting in language settings, extracting the game with winrar (ctrl+e and select Japanese) and launching the patch exe with a locale emulator.
