what is everyone's opinions on the sakura series of games? i ended up getting 2 of them on steam, but without voices to go with the high quality pictures was a put off. is the stories any good?.

Sooner or later they only update once a month so will have to see where they stand after May. In other news agave after also 100% translated Majikoi S translation has been blazing fast even though its just after story's mostly. Also the guy translating SakuSaku says he wants to be done in 2 months and moving on to irotoridori no sekai so good news there Anne route "should" be done this month.

Dowolf and co are still translating Majikoi S their thread is locked so it doesnt get spammed so far Kazuko after route translation is done. They did good work on Majikoi so I think they will see it through there is ALOT of H Scenes in Majikoi S so hopefully it doesnt drive him nuts translating all of it.

Nothing worse than finishing an epic VN and wanting more of the same we have all been there I am sure. Majikoi is kind of one of a kind since its basically a rom-com with the martial arts element in it and really it has such a great group of characters with loads of them but heres some recomendations:

Grisaia no kajitsu - There is a decent group of girls in here compared to majikoi, the protaganists are both tacticians there is action and tbh the Male protag is a total badass and coming through on situations alot like yamato

G-Senjou No Maou - Another awesome protagonist he reminds of yamato as well using his brain to do shit, it has school life and action in it and the main route is prob one of the best you can get

Thought I would just post a solid two I wil think of more when I dont have to go out! . But ye these share some traits with majikoi and if you like majikoi you will like these all 3 of these visual novels are must reads really for anyone getting into them.

how much time does editing take ? ( Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort to be exact )

Its been updated again : First Pass Editing 76.89%. Once the fist pass is over MDZ is going to do the 2nd pass like a skim read to check for errors so its faster. Then they will do QC'ing he has 4 people doing it so Its hard to say exactly how long hopefully this month if im being optimistic and possible within the next two.

Ye I went through them all as well, its a shit load guessing what game it is you might as well throw darts at the list hope its not something shit.

In other news Witch's Garden got udated TL: 25173/67201 (37.46%) huge props to the guy since its a huge project. The emote system is quite kwl animation wise kinda like Ef was but more fluid :

But ye the depth of VN will always beat anime in most cases but lets be honest they could at least try and do justice to some of these adaptions the first Ef for example wasn't a bad representation of the VN but when they compile like 5 routes of a VN into 12 episodes of nothing that's when shit gets ruined.

Also how g-senjou no maou isn't an anime yet is beyond me

EDIT : The guy who translated Koi iro Chu! Lips is also working on a new project its not on the list "50% nailed! (Specifically 50.316% Lines). " hes half way the only hint he has given is that its an Alicesoft title. "I suppose I can say that it's not part of the Rance series, making it a different side of AliceSoft than what people are use to seeing." So its not rance and he said its a genre shift from koi iro so any guesses?

like you said its all about personal preferences, as well as how much people can tolerate reading. for people who don't read books/manga/visual novels then anime is (for the most part) a good way of letting the people know about the story and characters. however like you said about the monologues, through anime alot of content is cut or changed to fit into the style of anime...... i wish that grisaia had just gone for the amagami route and just had each route completely seperate with it going back to where the route branches off for each character.

Honestly if more anime went the amagami route it would prob be better GnK for sure like Yumiko's route in the anime I don't even know what that was, Majikoi as well the anime was so disappointing and if they did just split routes as well it prob would have been more popular

Cocoro Function seems to have died after MDZ moved on to his own project, pity they didnt just release the route he did at least

is any part of the RAR in use and it cant copy from it? since it says only 99.8 is even available so maybe the compression failed or a file is in use or is read only.

Moved to 99.9% for me now but then got stuck again.
