I know it's stupid but... I spent prolly 2 to 3 hours trying to find a fix for it but couldnt. You might just have to suck it up and force your way through. GA ML and EL work waaaay better btw. ML might have some slowdown issues like GA 1 but not in the same scale and with EL you need to do some weird switch a roos with timezones and locations chaning the decimal sign to get the bloody battles to work. Nice series but a pain in the ass to get working on modern systems. xD

What graphics card do you have? I didnt find a fix for the 1 fps thing besides clicking out of the game. I did find a way once waaaay back but i have no memory what it was. XD

 

Edit: Personally i have an Nvidia GTX 760 and found out that going to the nvidia control panel 3d settings and turning off AA for GA helps getting the movies to work. Try disabling desktop composition and display scaling on high DPI settings as well not sure if it's down to weird random luck or that the settings actually DO something but a combination of all 3 made the movies work like a charm for me. The broccoli movie gets cut in half for somereason. Regarding the 1 fps issue. I managed to get it to work once while fiddling some settings but the moment i restarted the game it was back to 1 fps laggy shit. Hope this PARTIALLY helps. :3

Bump and update to this. I just read a piece of news that Sony might be revealing PS4 on this years E3 or even before that... Lets see where this takes us. Source of this information:

You guys read the latest news? With companies like Nvidia and RAZER making their own "Tablets" or "Mobile Devices" and even Valve jumping into the fray with their "Steambox" (Which isnt most likely a console but a concept instead) i dont think consoles will disappear from the market anytime soon... But then again neither wont the PC. Alot of developers go for the console exclusive bullshit because of "PIRACY" but the fact just remains even consoles have piracy but the thing PC has an advantage over the consoles are the community, mods ect... But enough about that the question was will consoles be a thing of the past? Frankly no! I personally really dont think the consoles are going to disappear anytime soon with this piracy bullshit flying around and... with the rumors that Microsoft might unravel a next generation gaming console in the next E3, but in the end we need to wait for E3 or any other major event where such things might pop up before we get any clear answers. Untill then it's just speculation and rumors.

PS. Oh and 1 more thing. Consoles wont disappear from the market. Not untill the companies come up with something else to sell to the consumers in the consoles place. (If i just said something that was already said on the topic i apologize. I was too lazy to read all the posts XD)

I think asuna... [spoiler= SAO Light Novel] woke up somewhere mid way the 2nd book? They already rushed the 25 or 26 chapters of the first book to get kirito to wake up so why the fuck should they slow down now? And drag on for ages before asuna wakes up?

Meh... I started watching the series after i read the novel... Feels like they rushed the anime a bit too much... D: I already know what's going to happen but I seriously hope that they host a more seasons for the rest of the books

So if that's true... um.. it might be the case that i installed the game twice? o_O

 

Edit: In the same folder that is... usually install programs overwrite the old files but i dunno. Guess weird things can happen when it's the case about software.

Aye! That's what i did 4 times but didn't work... oh well i'll download and try it again.. Could my OS being Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit have something to do with it being a pain in the ***?

There's an installer in the mla-r2.exe? o_O Uh... I may have done something horribly wrong... and i tried to install it by following some instructions that were made for Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited... Meh.. punched myself right in the face guess i need to download the whole thing again. 1 more question do i need to install the game first or the patch? (Logic says the game but when i do that it gives me that weird error during the rUGP installer phase and doesnt let me close it unless i manually do so from the task manager).

I have a slight problem when it comes to Muv-luv alterntive. There may have been a post previously about that or currently is but i didn't find it while browsing through tech support but anyway on to the problem itself.

 

I put a picture of the error i'm receiving as an attachement. Now this problem appears AFTER the the odd 2 second installation is done. It pops up the rUGP installer and does what ever it does fine for the first... uh.. patch? But then gives me that error at around 60% during the second one. I dont understand a word about japanese so i have no idea what's causing the problem nor do i have any ideas how to fix it... It's really frustrating since i spent a whole day trying to download the 21 parts only to get this smashed into my face.

 

Any ideas?

 

PS. Oh and hey gents! Too bad the first post i put out has to be in the tech support but greetings from cold northern scandinavia!
