I managed to get the tools to work. Just drop this into the main Kurukuru Fanatic folder and replace the current scenario.xp3 and it should work.

You should also download the raw files and move the files in the Backup 3 (Other Translated Files) to the main folder if you want the menu translated.

I would recommend backing up your Japanese scenario.xp3 before replacing it. I can't guarantee there won't be errors but so far it's working fine for me.

Kurukuru Fanatic's patch has been cancelled. The translator released the raw files which will be up until Feburary 1st. It's fully translated but only partially edited

The English version was supposed to be out 9/23 but it got delayed. So yes it will be translated just not sure when exactly, once they give a new date I will update the post.

Kira wanted a patch as his Christmas present (in the discussion in the previous post), so here it is. As usual, some stats first:

Nao: 5565/7311 (76.12%)

As a guy that basically stalks Aroduc, I really want to know where this information came from. He reviewed Bunny Black 3's trial when it came out last year, and didn't exactly give it a glowing recommendation. Also mentioning that he didn't play the first 2 games. Though he did give a pretty good review to Suzukuri Dragon, which is apparently part of the series. And then nothing until he used some Bunny Black CGs as part of a news post a few weeks ago.

So far just a patch for the menu, not sure about the story progress but it's still active

Persona 1 was first person, but then the rest of the series went back to third person stuff, which was great. Persona 2 was fantastic, and 3 was great too...

You should really try Bravely Default if you can then. Otherwise, look up an older atlus game called Luminous Arc. 1 + 2 are both in English, sadly #3 was never brought over though :/

There is a fan translation of #3 being worked on, not sure about the progress though

MGQ3 update

I’m at the end of the translation where I’m jumping around a lot, so it’s too difficult to try to get a line count. This will be the final progress update before I actually post about a hard patch release date.

 

Basically this is what’s left to finish, along with my guess on how much time it will take:

 

6 H-Scenes (4 hours)

3 Battles (1 hour each)

About 60% of the city text (Not sure, probably 4+ hours)

37 Encyclopedia entries (Four hours)

20 Evaluations (Maybe an hour, 1.5h at most)

Extra battle systems (This is the dicey one. I don’t know how hard this will be to add in and troubleshoot. Anywhere from 2 hours if easy, to many hours of fixing)

Editing/bug fixing (7+ hours)

 

Nearly there. I’d like to get the actual text all translated by Thanksgiving, and the editing done by early december.

I’m aiming to release the next iteration of the patch on October 4th. It’s a little less than 2/3rds of the way through, around 62%. Though it’s just at the 2/3rd point in terms of battles… The last portion of the game is more story/text heavy than the first 2/3rds.
