Is this English patch the most updated one? Or is there a more updated one somewhere else? If so, where would I found the most updated one? Also, how long does it usually take for new updates to come out (for the English patches for this game and the sequel Majikoi S)?

I did this and the problem was fixed. After seeing this worked I couldn’t help but laugh at how easy of a fix this was, yet it kick my ass so much lol. But, I shouldn’t be surprised. After all, this is typical computer problem troubleshooting. Thanks again for the quick and very helpful reply Phantasm.

I have tried everything. I have successfully downloaded the game and the patch. But every time I try to launch the game, I receive a 1503 insert disc 2 error. Both the patch launch button and the original (with Japanese characters) give me this same error. I have tried mounting both disc, extracting the date directly and putting it in a different folder, burning disc image and data onto different DVD’s, and deleting and re-installing the game. Nothing works and it just keeps asking for disc 2 at launch. Please tell me what I am doing wrong or need to do and please be very detailed. PS: yes, I already have changed the language local to Japanese.
