  1. From what I see, apparently it's for PS4 only. So no PC release here.

Sega has been porting everything to PC these days.Even stuff you would never think it would come out like the Yakuza games and some Atlus stuff like Catherine,I'm sure it will eventually be on PC,especially when the PC crowd loves strategy games and Sega's own Valkyria Chronicles was a huge hit on Steam.I just wish they twisted Atlus' arm a bit stronger to bring the Persona games(Persona 4 Golden was Vita only,a system which most people outside Japan didn't care about. If they ever bring that on PC,it would be a huge hit with lots of people who never bothered to get a Vita.)

  2. Well, the old one was somewhat buggy, for example you couldn't load from one of the chapters because it would crash the game.

Or perhaps they're translating the Noah version available on Android?

I recall the old patch was re-released early this year that fixes many of the issues called Di-Patch.

If it is the Noah version, that's great.I've always wanted to try it out.

  3. Shouldn't really matter, the PC version is already released. If people wanted to play it they wouldn't wait to play it on console.

I know, but if they decide not to bring any more VNs to consoles because of Steins Gate not selling okay at release,it will be their fault for not planning this well...

  4. Nah, it always depends on the original games.

    Japanese original game_______________________________________________ Mangagamer's release

    Supipara: all ages ___________________________________________________15+

Tokyo Babel: alle ages release (18+ version exists as well)__________________15+

Negai no Kakera to Hakugin no Agreement: 15+___________________________15+

    Okujou no Yurirei-san: 18+____________________________________________ 18+

    Princess Evangile W Happiness: 17+ and 18+ releases_____________________15+ and 18+ release

So the only game where they could have done a 18+ release is Tokyo Babel.

Edit: I may have got your comment wrong. If you meant they chose japanese all ages titles so that they can release them on Steam without cutting out stuff etc. then yes, it's not a coincidence at all.

there is no 18+ version of Tokyo Babel. It was just bundled with a 18+ game in a package

  5. There are 8 Higurashi chapters. Modders actually never ended up doing a voice patch for anything other than the first chapter, apparently there wasn't any good way to automate the process. Hopefully that happens with the upcoming MangaGamer remake but there are no guarantees.

Supposedly, the Steam version of Higurashi will allow for a music patch that can be 100% accurate to the Japanese release(since they will still have to remove some of them due to copyright issues.),but yeah,we will have to wait and see.

  6. I hope they don't take too long to finish Little Busters EX,otherwise I'm sure it will be picked up by Sekai Project if they don't finish it before Clannad is released and then it would be another long wait. For all we know,Clannad may not be released in 2015.The text is gigantic and they are fixing the previous translation.Hell, that's why Mangagamer is going slow with Da Capo 3,that game is gigantic as well and they would have to stop everything else they're working in

  7. I recall Doddler mentioning recently he may make the Steam release more easily moddable so people can change sprites and the music with more freedom.Sprites and a translation that wasn't that great in the first arcs aside, having some musics and the mini-games cut were my biggest gripes with Mangagamer's release, and the way they were programmed, you couldn't patch the music to be 100% like the original version.Maybe now we can finally play it with all the music intact?

  8. MG really dragging it's ass on Da Capo 3 - mind you they've been announcing a ton of titles lately, so their probably spread out~

EDIT: there a reason we're keeping Dracu-Riot! on the list? It makes me remember bad emotions whenever I see that name. :p

apparently,Da Capo 3 is so huge, that they would have to stop doing anything else to translate it faster(also the reason MG didn't touch Shin Koihime Musou. It's a huge game, even bigger than the previous one,and probably would be too costly to bring it over, especially regarding the issue of licensing the voices again.Thankfully,a group is translating it and they are already about halfway done.)

  9. how do I play the music in the game?I read the instructions to convert the in-game music, but the thing is:I downloaded the latest CDex version and there's no option to convert to OGG.What should I do now?
