  1. Finished this game called Yabai something or other a couple of weeks ago and it goes down as the worst eroge I had the displeasure of seeing. Was gonna uninstall it and call it a day but my curiosity forced me to finish it and I regret all the time I spent on it.

God awful pointless story that just gave you the run around

3 endings which were all bad endings, 2 of which made no sense

Longest H scenes I have ever seen in a eroge(even for a nukige) and the dialog dragged on

I would like to say there was literally nothing good about this game but the music was good... and that's it. I'll be more careful about what I choose now but I am 125% positive that nothing will ever top this as worst eroge I've experienced.

  2. Playing Koihime Musou again. Never finished it before because my computer crapped out and I lost everything on it way back when but now that I have time to get down to it again I am experiencing greatness.

Makes me really wish Shin was translated but at the same time I hear Shin is actually a bit worse due to faction choosing and less focus probably due to 10+ more girls.

  3. Good luck with Harukoi, I am almost finishing the game and Riru route was by far the best to me together with Umi. Try playing Kisaya route to see what is the worst this game can offer you. Even so a moege like this is still better than a nugike (at least in my opinion).

I don't know how you can call Kisaya's route bad, it wasn't good but it certainly wasn't the worst. Then again you did like the Umi route which is another among the badly done little sister routes which are so hard to get right to begin with. It sadly comes packaged with another hard to get right route, the childhood friend.

Though you both did the Riru route and no one else will top that in this game. Though I personally thought Sonya and Ayaka were tied for second.

  4. Anyway, moving on... more than a handful seem to be interested in this MGQ thing, is it good? classic? must read?

I really want to know what the deal is with this series as well. It seems to have unbelievably high ratings on vndb and I find it completely hard to believe when the main character is a shota and the gist of the game seems to be that you get raped by hot monster girls if you lose a battle with any one of them.

  5. I've been playing Ikikoi since the full patch released. I'm currently on Eika's route.

I'm not sure if I'll like any of the routes in this game more than I did Tsumugu's, but Tane has potential... Eika's not so bad either.

    I'm pretty sure you won't.

This game seems to be getting bagged on pretty hard. From what I understand every girl in the game is a tsundere and there is just too much of it, is that the problem here or is it the story rather than the characters?

  6. Just needed a nukige to take a break from all the heavy readying so I started on "Eroge! ~H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai~" and I'm about half finished but this is hands down the best nukige I've played/read.

I've always thought Clock Up had incredible quality from art work to sound effects to almost everything else but seeing how most of their stuff is rape filled I never give them a second look.

  7. Finished Harukoi Otome a couple of days ago and despite the bad start it turned out well. Then again it only started out bad because I did the sister and childhood friend route and personally those are hard to get right so I'm not surprised they weren't done well here.

Every other route was good though so it made for a good play through, only other problems were the ridiculous writing at times(especially the H scenes), the awful friend character.

There was also the MC who was a whiny and emo mess whenever EVERY route moved into its problem part. The guy seriously had no common sense, couldn't get anything done without every side character telling him how and just would not take action.

Overall though it was nice read, though it could of used more focused on the girls you were actually after.

  8. Harukoi Otome, prepares for disappointment and imminent boredom, unless you could trick yourself into thinking that the text is enjoyable to read.

Sadly I have experienced the bad writing already. I decided to get the incest route out of the way and I honestly felt like I maybe missed some scenes then I realized the writing is so disconnected that the author must of thought everyone would know what he was thinking when he wrote it. Having to go through a week or so of the MC acting like a punk ass emo made no sense.

Wait for Da Capo 3, Suginami's zenith of awesomeness.

I guess it stands to reason that the only person who can top Suginami is Suginami.

  9. Currently playing Harukoi Otome and I have hopes because BaseSon... however as of the start I am disappointed.

After coming off Da Capo and experiencing a friend character as awesome as Suginami I am now treated to Oikawa, the absolute worst character I have had the displeasure of experiencing. This unfunny annoying prick has taken more time than the girls and that is absurd in a eroge, whoever thought up this god awful character deserves to be hit with a Misogi.

  10. That's it.(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ *Pulls out the blunderbuss* Stop reading it right now, you're unworthy of Da Capo's magic!

don't go sniffing romance novels if you're going to bother over analyzing the plot. ಠ_ಠ

Calm yourself lad and lower your weapon, is it too much to ask for a story to just simply make sense? I'm all for magic but if the story sets rules then it should follow them.

On some positive notes I did like Minatsu's route and Anzu's as well... though Anzu's kinda fell apart a little towards the end imo.

I also really like Koko when normally I don't like her character type, she was just a good character, her route however was a complete mess.

One more thing, Suginami was god like, I have not seen a male side character that cool in so long that I can't even remember.

  11. So I just about finished up Da Capo 2(one route left) and the story is riddled with holes at times. It just felt all around lazy and honestly it was like there were too many characters and not enough time to expand on them and thus they chose to just half ass it.

Not the worst thing I have played/read but there is so much missed potential that I can barely say the game passes for decent.

  12. I just realized I had Da Capo 2 on my backlog so I have to clear it before I get to anything else and it is huge disappointment so far, but I do hold an interest in the story so I won't just drop it. It has been a really long time since I played the first one too.

    *Incoming Rant*

Immediately I notice there is no Akane route and there better be a damn good reason for this.

Game confirms that the most boring character is the canon route.

If that wasn't bad enough two of the heroines are clone-like off springs of said boring character.

To make matters even worse I find out you can't even do these two bore fest until you unlock their route.

Awesome teacher type character with no teacher route...

  13. I'm about to start playing through something but I had to narrow my choices. There was 'Yumina the Ethereal' which I had kick to the back since it looks like it has gameplay and I can't have that right now. After some thought I figure I'll hold off on 'If My Heart Had Wings' and now I have between 'Grisaia no Kajitsu' and 'Harukoi Otome'.

I don't need any big reasons or anything as this is just up in the air but which do you good people recommend I play first out of the two?

  14. The patch for this game is not complete is it? From what I understand the current patch doesn't fix all the bastardized dialogue but it does re-add all the removed content and with correct dialogue for said removed content right?

I'm pretty confused on this and I don't want to go through it and see text that obviously doesn't match a scene as if 4Kids did the translation.

  15. It's a linear-plot type VN, what did you expect?

Some bad ends featuring Takeru and horrible deaths.

Truthfully that is probably maybe what I was expecting. I mean why have choices at all if they don't do jack?

One in particular I found completely stupid is that when Yuuko offers you gun and ask if you want to shot her the choices are basically "no" and "not really".

Then again you can't blame a fella considering the prequel did actually have choices.

  16. Okay, so I finally finished MLA and I realize I was harshly wrong to call it "complete ass". That doesn't mean I did a 180 on it but it took finishing it for me to see things from the other side of the fence. Knowing myself I can usually make up my mind on something without having to completely finish it but MLA just happened to be one of those rare cases with me.

I got a lot of personal gripes(and these aren't all) with it like Takeru's speeches, the constant flashbacks, the incredible amount of exposition and the laughable illusion of choices but at the end of the day I would of rather played/read it than not.

I'm not big on number ratings but if I had to say so then I would put this a decimal point below the original.

  17. Maybe I sounded harsh calling it "complete ass" as that isn't exactly fair, if it was that bad I would of dropped. Like I said, I'll see it through to the end.

But to bring up one point, I don't know how Takeru repeating himself countless times doesn't take points away for some people. I've lost count how many times he has repeated his resolve, coward and change speeches.
