  1. It's not that I think we can or can't finish it by the end of the year, it's that this is our first project and we have no experience to say how fast or slow the remainder will be and I seriously have no idea what the actual time frame would be. the last 30-40% of translation is mostly in images and H-scenes which are very different from the usual scripts. All I'm trying to say is that I would really rather people not try to get hyped until the finish line is...well, at least visible.
  2. Please don't say that. There is a reason I typed out an entire paragraph detailing the fact that these numbers aren't accurate representations.
  3. I am really quite hesitant about giving out percentages out since, as mentioned before, there is a lot of work to do after progress hits "100%." for example: the rough translations we have now will absolutely need to be rechecked which basically means we will be starting the script over from the start to make sure that all the translations are actually accurate. However, as long as that is kept in mind, I can give you a basic overview of what the percentages look like thus far. main story: 65% side events: 62% H-scenes: 9% This isn't based on a line count or anything, I'm just looking at things like "145 of 241 side events have been translated." Certain characters have longer events than others, so this is not a perfect approximation (the average Kakouton/Kakouen event is double the length of the average Sonsaku event and this information is not being taken into account in this calculation)
  4. I am interested in Sengoku Koihime and Sangoku Hime. Perhaps I should check out the former simply to see how much extra information they give on Kazuto and his family...It's SKM related! I have an excuse!
  5. (Quick clarification as to why I can say the following things: I'm one of the two main translators for the SKM project.) There would sadly be quite a few problems with that: 1) SKM is absolutely massive, so we really shouldn't be promising to do other projects until we are much farther along on our current project. 2) Despite what I just said as point #1, the plan already seems to be that we go to Moeshouden once we finish SKM. 3) I've never tried to pull text an such from a PSP game, and I don't know if there is currently anyone on the team who has. Admittedly, #3 is easily solvable with a new recruit to the team (or looking up a quick tutorial if Lost Color has simpler code behind it than SKM), but 1 and 2 would be major roadblocks at present to saying we could do that game. As for the answer when those three points dissolve a bit, that would depend on what the translators want since this can be somewhat tedious work unless you really like the game you're translating, so I would have to look up more about that game before I would be able to think about translating it.
