Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past

A man named Ken Krause (Kenichiro Kosugi) has somehow gotten himself mixed up with some gangsters, and after being threatened he is forced to carry out some questionable tasks by them. He also finds out that these people have targetted Jake Hunter. Who are these people, and what are their true intentions?

This is a story exclusive to the DS and doesn't have a number assigned to it. As a bonus this release also includes previous Jake Hunter games (1 to 5) and six chibi style minigames where Jake has to deduce a culprit by questioning suspects.

    • You have been sent to colonize a string of islands infested with a wide variety of monstergirls.
While these monstergirls are aggressive and must be pacified, they also serve as a source of labor and produce unique goods, so you'll need them to build your cities.

      Capture Monstergirls
Every monstergirl is an individual with her own stats, genes, and productivity.
Your monstergirls need to be housed, geared up, and put to work to create the goods your colony needs.
You can also enlist them into your party to help pacify and capture more monstergirls

      Build Massive Cities
Your islands can have hundreds of monstergirls, but to upgrade them you have to fulfill their needs.
All monstergirls are different: Alraune eat fruits; Ratkin eat cheese; Harpies eat eggs.
And that's only the first stage, as your population gets more diverse and demanding, you have to navigate a complex web of production chains to keep everybody happy.

      Enact Laws
As you house more monstergirls, or sell them off to the empire, you'll have to decide whether to tolerate or oppress them.
Or maybe you only dislike Spidergirls, and have no problem tolerating all other races.
Each law has unique effects and bonuses, leading to (at least) two completely different playthroughs.
You can try getting a nine-tailed Foxgirl with tolerance, or cage Harpies and turn them into moveable jukeboxes that buff nearby workplaces.

      Craft Equipment
Use your colony's production output to craft gear for your monstergirls to increase your colony's production output to craft even more gear for the monstergirls you capture to craft even more gear.
Equally, monstergirls can be trained to become better workers, fighters, or just look more visually appealing.
And all of this can of course be automated, to create the perfect workers from the moment they hatch.

      Embrace Genomics
When two monstergirls like eachother very much, they hug for a long time, and a new monstergirl is created with a selection of genes from both.
By carefully deciding how to hug and with which gifts, you can further improve these genes and create the ultimate monstergirl.

      Build the Ultimate Monstergirl Empire
There are 12 hand-crafted islands to settle each with unique effects and resources.
They can trade with eachother, allowing for small specialist colonies optimized for productivity or large metropolitan islands filled with hundreds of needy nobles.
