Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate

  • Language: English

Two childhood friends attend Takafuji Gakuen: Yuuki, who wants to fall in love, and Chisato, who hates chocolates. They are part of the food research club along with their friend and classmate Mifuyu. Even though it’s a food research club, they don’t actually do anything except for buying candy with the club budget and enjoying their time together. It is an irreplaceable place to them. However, the club’s existence is in danger with one of the student council president candidates, Satsuki, vowing to close all clubs that don’t do anything. Since their club is in this list, they do their best to save it but there’s no other way but to participate in the student council president elections and defeat her. Yuuki is persuaded by Chisato to run in the election. At first he isn’t interested at all, but since the club members are trying their hardest, he too wants to win to save the club.

This no dvd exe doesn't work for me either, it just gives me the same old "please insert dvd" issue.

Judging by what I've read in the comments, this issue with the crack seems to mainly effect people on windows 7 64 bit. I spent a few hours searching online for a solution, but every work around I've tried hasn't managed to get the the "insert dvd" screen to go away. Kind of given up on this one by now, too bad it looks like a good one :/

I can't seem to get it to work. After I install I can't start the game. If i use the .exe with Japanese characters a box it just ?'s pop up with the option to hit ok or cancel. If I hit ok it takes me to abobe's shockwave page for some reason. Running the .exe with apploc does nothing either. I tried all of this with the image still mounted.

Next I tried extracting the ksc_updater (from the iso verson) and NoDVD rars into my installation folder. Unfortunately when I click start.exe nothing happens. I do have AVG antivirus and I heard that antivurises can interfere so I've tried both disabling it and making exceptions for the installation folder but nothing worked.

I'm not sure what to do. I'm running windows 10 and I've tried running all .exes in windows 7 compatibility mode but to no avail. I've tried both iso and non-iso versions of the vn and neither has worked. It seems ultimately start.exe does nothing no matter what I try :(

To everyone still having an issue getting this game to play due to the insert dvd error I believe I have found a permanent solution. I tried all the previous suggestions to no avail than wen through these steps and everything works perfectly for myself now.

Go to Locale Emulator

Download that application and install it. Once its installed and set up right-click the "start.exe" and chose "Local Emulator > Run in Japanese Admin"

The program should start and give you the dvd error again, however just hit yes and it should disappear. Next you will come across a screen with a blank text field and some Japanese text.

Enter Q6ZL-HRH8-PZJF-Q2RE into the blank text field and click on the first choice below the text field and the game should be all good to go after that. Hopefully everything works out for you as it did for me!

Hello, to everyone still experiencing the insert dvd error I believe I have found a solution to the problem.

Firstly go to this link and download the application Locale Emulator. Its a local emulator app, nothing dangerous.

Once that is downloaded and installed properly right-click the "start.exe" in the game folder. Choose "Local Emulator > Run in Japanse (admin)"

The game should start up normally and you will get the dvd error once more, however just hit yes and it will continue to the next screen.

On the next screen you will see a blank text field, enter Q6ZL-HRH8-PZJF-Q2RE into the blank field and click on the first option below the text field.

After that the game should be good to go. You will need to run in local emulator every time you want to start up the game however, although this shouldnt be too big of an issue.

Hopefully this works for everyone else as it did for me!

Still no luck, I'm pretty much at a lost. Not even Basic Translations has a solution for people who are unable to use the start.exe. I thought it might be a Windows 10 thing but it seems there are other who aren't having this problem.

I have no choice but to pass on this unfortunately. When I tried running the normal unpatched .exe file I still get this box Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet. If I click OK it takes me to Adobe's Shockwave Player for some reason (I tried downloading Shockwave but It didn't resolve anything). If I click cancel it simply closes.

How do I save my progress by using the manual save instead of using autosave? After selecting a free slot to save and clicking back, it won't go back or go anywhere from the saves screen.
