On a dark night path, a girl you’ve never met suddenly calls out to stop you. “Wait a second! They say that if you play rock-paper-scissors with a stranger, your luck improves!”
The girl, who introduces herself as Nako, seems to genuinely believe this particular urban legend that’s been circulating around.
“Please, just play one round with me!”
Unable to say no, you end up playing along. If she wins, she gets into high spirits, cheering, “I knew it, I’m so lucky!”
If she loses, she starts muttering to herself, “Huh? This wasn’t supposed to happen…”
It was supposed to be a rock-paper-scissors matchup for just a single night, but before you know it, you can’t stop.
