A few people awoke in an unknown place.
All of them, strangers to each other, are supposed to be dead.

Amid their confusion, a mysterious entity offers to extend their life with a single, non-negotiable condition: they must eradicate various specters in this world. Only the resurrected, such as themselves, could perceive and eliminate these otherwise imperceptible apparitions.

Their revival, however, has its side effects; an abnormally strong libido, the persistent dread of an unpredictable call to battle, and the constant terror of their borrowed time running out.

Somewhere in Southern Europe, an unremarkable couple faces a heartbreaking reality— they cannot conceive a child due to the husband's infertility. The story is set in the world of Island. One day, mysterious machine-like creatures known as “Plantum,” whose origins are unknown even to the Source, suddenly invade. Though their appearances vary, all are covered in platinum-like shells. Nations across the world mobilize their full military forces, yet are completely defeated within a single day. As the Plantum expand outward in a circular pattern, people are forced to abandon their homes and evacuate continuously. Over the course of two years, governments become dysfunctional, social order collapses, crime and gangs run rampant, and violent conflicts erupt over limited resources. The world gradually descends into an apocalypse. To contain the spread, the government establishes the “Rift Zones,” divided into three types: the “Destruction Zone,” which has been completely devastated and is uninhabitable; the “Red Zone,” where survival is still barely possible but constant threat remains; and the “Fringe Zone,” which is predicted to be invaded within one month. Those struggling to survive in these areas are known as “Rift Walker.”

Due to certain circumstances, Leona, a gunslinger, is living on the run in the wilderness.
One day, she happens to stop by a bar in a town where she meets a suspicious demi-human named Lurie,
who invites her to a fighting tournament at the Colosseum, and she decides to participate.
If she keeps winning the tournament, she will be absolved of her crimes.
However, if she loses to her opponent, she will be immediately and publicly raped, and then become her opponent’s property…in other words, her slave.
The once-in-a-lifetime challenge begins to determine whether she will become the champion of the arena, or become a slave to be used for the rest of her life.
