In the peaceful Elf village, Aldos, the main character, bravely fought against the evil dark elf mage, Darius, to keep the land safe. But, after winning, Aldos found out a surprising thing – Darius’s daughter, Kora, really wanted revenge against him and his kin.
The king told Aldos to get rid of everyone related to Darius. Even though Aldos is a good person, he couldn’t hurt the young girl Kora. So, he chose to be kind and let her live. But, this decision started a chain of events that made Aldos regret to spare the young dark elf.

Nienke is a dark elf who lives in the small, peaceful village of Alpenrose. Though beautiful, Alpenrose is secluded, and it boasts exactly one family of dark elves: Nienke's. Nienke has been teased for most of her life owing to her unusual appearance, and it doesn't help that a nasty childhood illness left her much shorter than the rest of her peers.
Nienke was always an outcast, but she never minded that. She had her best friend Cornelia, and she wasn't lonely...
But then Cornelia leaves Alpenrose to attend university, leaving Nienke behind.
Nienke would love to attend university herself, but her overprotective parents don't want to let her stray too far afield owing to her delicate health. Nienke has to stay at home instead, to help her parents with their café, Fleur de Lys. Nienke's days are all the same, and she soon tires of the daily grind...
Until a fellow dark elf called Merel pays Nienke a visit. She claims to be Nienke's childhood friend, though Nienke can't remember her. Did she really used to play with a girl as aggressively cheerful and energetic as Merel — and why is Merel so freaking tall?!
