Surrounded by mountains and having almost no contact with other nations, the secluded land of Kamui is like an island cut off from the outside world.

As its name suggests, Kamui is protected by a guardian deity known as Hiiragi no Kotama. In exchange for the people’s faith, the deity has granted them peaceful and prosperous lives.

The regional lords are monitored by an organization directly serving Hiiragi no Kotama known as the Imperial Guard. Its members act on the deity’s behalf, correcting wrongdoing and preserving stability throughout the country.
