Story

 

The story takes place on the man-made floating island of Aqua Eden, where gambling, sex and thievery are considered legal by the government.

One summer day, Yūuto Mutsura and Naota Kurahashi travel to the island to lose their virginity. During their visit, they meet a girl named Miu, who directs them to a brothel. During a misunderstanding, Miu gets kidnapped, is taken to a harbor and is held for ransom. Yuuto then goes to the harbor to rescue her, where he too is taken hostage. The kidnappers are arrested by an island security task force. During a subsequent misunderstanding, Yuuto is turned into a vampire, learns that Aqua Eden is really a safe haven for vampires and that Miu is a vampire herself.(Thanks wikipedia)

Yūuto Mutsura

The main protagonist. Yūuto was invited by his friend Naota to the island Aqua Eden on their vacation. His main purpose is to eat all the gourmet foods that are served in Aqua Eden, but ended up becoming a vampire during a (fateful) kidnap incident. A closet pervert.

 

It was revealed he already had the genes of powerful vampire before the trip during an operation in his childhood. Oh sorry, genes of a lycanthrope.

 

 

Miu Yarai

The girl Yūuto first met in the island. Miu was actually a vampire working under the security task force of Aqua Eden. She have telekinetic abilities and felt responsible for turning Yūuto into a vampire.

A human girl working under the security task force of Aqua Eden. Azusa is Miu's friend and she usually wears a miko uniform while working. Your typical loli character. She uses a pistol and also a sharpshooter.

 

Eleanor Olegovna Owen

Elina for short. A Russian vampire that recently transferred to Aqua Eden. She lives under the same dormitory as Yūuto and the girls. She works in a casino and a surprisingly a pro gambler. She loves to tease her friends(especially Yūuto) with sex jokes. She's horny 24/7. She can control electric wave.

 

Rio Inamura

A vampire who works as a waitress at Alexandria. Rio handles the housework in the dorm and is very innocent despite her looks. She was often teased by Elina. Her ability is super human strength.

A vampire living under the same dorm and works as a dealer in the casino with Elina. Nicola have chuunibyou syndrome and loves to cosplay.

 

At first I thought Nicola's a guy but it turns out..... yea. She has a route of her own and despite her looks, I personally thinks that she have larger bust size compare to Rio.

Yuuto's best friend. A funny dude and have no idea his best friend became a vampire. Jealous of the harem Yuuto has.

The oldest vampire and strongest vampire in Aqua Eden. She works as the mayor of Aqua Eden and know a lot of secrets of the island.

Graphics

Yuzusoft's graphics are more into character's moe-ness and was quite the specialty. The background details are not that impact-giving but still satisfying.

 

Sound

The soundtrack for all Yuzusoft's game are considered normal and lack impact. Sometimes in the game the music just breaks the mood somehow. The opening theme for Dracu-riot! is "Scarlet~"

As you can see, the systems are consider normal for a standard VN. Not much special effects.

The only special part I find is that you can change the music while browsing the CGs to change the atmosphere(which the musics are not that decent as mentioned). CGs are categorized as parts not heroines so sometimes it may mess up the order for some people.

 

Overall

The story is consider normal, sometimes predictable. But it does has its moments. The characters are quite cute so that makes things up.

 

Recommended for: People who like fantasy, slightly high sexual content, twilight sort stories, cute heroines

Not recommended for: People who like high drama, Yuzusoft haters, stories with more twist.

 

Overall rating: 7/10

It seems like this game is revolved more around the characters and their interactions than anything else. Though it does seem interesting to have the protag as a vampire and observe his lifestyle, the fact that my instincts tell me it's revolved more around hscenes and comedy is unfortunate -_-.

What else is Moege if it's not cute heroines, cheesy romantic conversations, half-assed dorama, and an abundance of h-scenes.
