Thumbs up for wanting to play EU IV because it's one of the best strategy games ever but unfortunately I'm far too lazy to explain all the game mechanics to you. What I did to learn the game before even playing it by myself (I know it sounds weird) was watching let's play, but you could also fight your way through some tutorial videos. I start off hot but as the game goes on some other nation always ends up destroying my entire army. Also, we should try to get a game going with people from here. Well it's totally normal to be shit after 10h of gameplay so don't sweat it. It took me like 50+ hours to become decent at the game and now I'm atticted to it...
