Korodoch 10
So i've been watching yuriyuru, the Kantai collection, Girls und Panzer, Strike Witches, and now most recently K-ON (would have loved a bigger focus on the music in K-ON tbh). I quite liked all of them (even if Strike Witches overdid the upskirt panty shots and topless/boob fondling footages of underaged girls). Anyway i quite enjoyed the overall happy go lucky feelings of those series as i'm not much of a fan of emotional rollercoasters at the moment (having enough of them personally right now). So i'm kinda on the lookout for more and google is not cooperating with me. Here's what i'm looking for: Most (or only) girls, no hardcore porn but some ecchi are fine but not a requirement, no depressing stuff worse then in the series listed, plenty of jokes and it needs to be english subbed (i hate english dub on japanese anime). Theme wise it can be about pretty much anything. But if they are similar to those i've watched it'd be a bonus. Oh and the more seasons the better but at least one full season (12+ episodes). Sorry if this makes it hard to pick something out.

Rin 12
Seconding Non Non Biyori and adding Kiniro Mosaic, Tamayura, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka, Hidamari Sketch, Yuyushiki, Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh and Nichijou. There're quite a few like that, really.
ChexGuy 13
Everything Rin listed + Pani Poni Dash. Just some extra info to keep in mind: Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou, and Pani Poni are all 26 eps Hidamari Sketch has four seasons with about 5-8 extra episodes Kiniro Mosaic has a second season currently airing Usagi and Non Non Biyori have second seasons coming soon I think Tamayura has two seasons, never watched it though. I think I'll also throw in suggestions for Working! (I think the first season was called Wagnaria), which has a third season on the way and Squid Girl (Ika Musume) which is two seasons long. rahrah 32
Should definitely watch Azumanga Daioh, especially given how influential it is. I pretty much agree with everything everyone else has already said. I'd also recommend School Rumble and Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita. School Rumble has a more romance focus than other shows listed here but its one of my favorite show, still very funny and very nostalgic for me. Jinrui is kind of ridiculous but in a very good way. Can't really imagine anyone not liking the show.
Korodoch 10
Sweet, thanks all. And just to add to the list. Found a series called Arpeggio of Blue Steel that was quite good as well, though some background info would have been nice. All this "unknown x appears and wreaks havoc" beginnings, really unfulfilling.... I tried watching Squid Girl but not sure why but it didn't catch my fancy all that much. But i'm giving it an episode every once in a while hoping it'll grow on me. /edit: oh right, should probably ask, does any of these suggestions you guys made have any ecchi? Have my 13 year old niece over for a few days and she's watching some of it with me. And i kinda don't feel like explaining to my sister why i'm watching that stuff when i have her around... rahrah 32
None of the shows listed above have ecchi as far as I am aware
skelebunny 10
Seconding Pani Poni Dash. It's one of the funniest animes I've ever seen and each time I re-watch it I find something new.
