For NBA, I love the Boston Celtics and that goes for the Boston Bruins for NHL as well.

Favourite player all time Larry Bird, but currently Paul Pierce.

I just started watching NHL even though hockey is huge here in Canada, basketball is more my sport but watching hockey is a pretty good new experience

Sure we do, But it would be pointless as you wouldn't understand any of the names plus the only sports which are actually big would have to be Football which you call Soccer and Rugby, Of which I don't like either :/
