Kanon english patch problem

When I unzip the english patch, my computer is telling me that reallive-patch.exe is a trojan horse. I just want to double check that this is just my computer reading it wrong. I've tried downloading the same patch from a couple different places, and I get the same thing. None of my friends have tried, and I havn't gotten an answer about this anywhere else.

Any patch you download from ErogeDownload is NOT a virus. I believe this is also a known issue that some anti virus programs pick up reallive-patch.exe as a trojan, but it is NOT harmful.

Desi is right, it's not a virus. It's a called a false positive, many game cracks and keygens come up as a "trojan" by some AVs. Google false positive and see what it is.

Thanks for the replies, I thought this was the case but but wanted to be extra cautious before I did anything.

 

 

PS: Haha, ya the VN subreddit was my first place to check, apparently they weren't very interested in answering though. I had completely forgotten about these forums, glad I remembered.
