Win32:Malware-gen on shiny days.

I not sure if this is actually a trojan or not, but i need confirmation that it's safe or harmfull. If safe then why does it show up as a virus.

If you download Shiny Days from here I can guarantee you it’s a false positive.

usually that happens because the executable of the game is cracked, It's not a real virus/trojan.

does the false positvve only show up during instalation or after the game is installed? cause currently its during installing and avast deletes a couple of files. the game is playable but with some scenes being blacked out

That's weird , but maybe you should disable Avast before try to install it ?!

however if you still think is too risk , I recommend you to download a version that doesn't need to be installed: シャイニーデイズ [Version 1.01e, All Content Restored] :: Sukebei

i noticed the problem with the detection are a couple of files. one is named mvp3.gpk, bgm.gpk, ex01.gpk, Gense.gpk beingthe latest

I would use a better antivirus if I was you , no offense!

I'm pretty sure that none of these files can cause damage to you computer. You can try configure Avast to prevent these files from being deleted , add them to "Exception list" or something.

Honestly , I don't know what else to do at this point.

I don't use free antivirus , so I can't make a good recommendation, maybe AVG or Norton?

But if you can , I suggest Kaspersky Internet Security , I've been using it for 2 years and is excellent.

You have to buy a license to use , but you might find some serial key on the internet/google.
