Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear.

If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

In the past I have wasted money on items that looked good in photos but felt cheap in real life. Footwear is even harder because different brands cut shoes very differently. This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. Reviews that mention long term use are more valuable than comments written on day one. For fashion and clothing I pay attention to fabric thickness and stitching details. Jewelry is another category where quality can be very different from photos. Smaller shops can be surprisingly friendly if they care about repeat customers. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces.

Hope this helps someone.
