I start the download process on a game I acquired through either Steam or Epic Games. Using Epic Games for this particular example, the download status shows three progress bars, "Download", "Read", and "Write". The "Write" speed is consistently approximately 17 faster than the "Download" speed. Just where is all that data its writing coming from?
