I've installed Steins;Gate with instructions -> Steins;Gate – Installation/Error troubleshooting | Eroge Download (using AppLocale on Windows 7) Everything is fine, but I can't save it. Quicksave just crashes application http://puu.sh/QvHo While I'm trying to make normal save: I get information that saving is sucessful, but there is nothing in save slots. Of course I can't load it. http://puu.sh/QuQZ http://puu.sh/QuQZ Just like there is no save files on the hard disk. I tried: installing version 1.0, 1.10 and 1.20, with/without english translation, virtual machine with XP (there I have different problem, Steins;Gate doesn't run at all), change locale of system... Can somebody help me?
killerinsidee Posted August 11, 2012 Posted August 11, 2012 Do you by any chance have a Windows username with some strange letters, e.g. with - â, ú, ö ? The saves are located in c:\users\username\... so if you have a something with strange letters there, it could cause problems. Also, try to find some save from the net and put it in that folder, then try to load it (and if the game can even see the saves).
