Somehow I thought the routes were mediocre and things just didn't make sense unless you, as the game puts it, "know the secret of the world". If it wasn't for the later part of the Refrain route and epilogue I probably wouldn't have liked this VN, compared to Clannad at least. As for the girl on the picture, it's Suzu from the EX version. Don't bother getting that version and the unfinished patch though, using the patch makes you unable to watch much of the new content (H-scenes, Kuds second ending, etc.). Triggers for new content doesn't work.

Almost perfect (if you like the genre). The only compaint I had was how they left Sakura out in the cold (the final DC route raised more questions than it answered imo), those things gets solved in Da Capo 3 though so I don't mind it anymore

This is one of my favorite VNs ever. It's not often it's this hard to grasp the core of the story until the very end and the hints doesn't make any sense (or more likely they just confuse you more) until after the mystery has been revealed. It doesn't have any H scenes either so it's safe to use for enticing more people to 'this side'

The only thing it's missing is the unlockable route they talk about in the VN. Since they have that kind of strong hinting for one it makes me wonder if it was cut due to time-limits or something... Still a very good VN though.
