Yes. I've tried about 4 different fonts, all with the same error. Without the english patch, it does the same in Japanese.

Hi, I just downloaded "Wind -A Breath of Heart- off of here, but when I launch it, i get greeted with a text glitch. (an image is attached to this post) What I've tried is launching in admin, launching in Japanese locale, running it in compatibility mode, downloading an xvid decoder (as the English patch recommends) but nothing fixes my problem. I'm on Windows 10. Thanks in advance, I really want to play this game.
