MangaGamer has been trying to acquire the Taimanin Asagi license from Lilith actually but they felt it better to start with some less known titles to start out with and then continue from there, how that worked out I'm not too sure on but I'm guessing they're still active even if there might be not be any upcoming releases from them currently.

(Exactly how that works I'm unsure about, I can understand it's not exactly going to be possible to just license stuff from the bigger studios due to costs and sometimes a bit of a aversion to the western market in general but when you have a contract established why not go for some of the more known titles too besides the first Taimanin games are a bit older now so I don't see a problem but there were probably other reasons behind it too.)

Far as CG and similar works I'm mainly using websites such as G.E Hentai for viewing them directly ( E-Hentai Galleries - The Free Hentai Doujinshi, Manga and Image Gallery System ) but some of these do have restrictions on content available even to active and registered users.

(Far as G.E is concerned they're good but there's various limits requiring contribution in order to view certain types of content.)

Though as for uncensoring I'm unsure if there's any good way to do this short of the original CG somehow leaking from the VN developers directly or a very skilled fan or group of fans essentially re-draws the mosaic covered parts, will differ from the official art of course if it were ever to be made available (For example if it was licensed.) but some of these projects are pretty good. (Fairly certain this was done for Fate Stay Night to name one example.)

Pretty sure I also heard Japanese law enforcement actually raiding some place where they had a (likely non-functional.) machine for automatically de-mosaic old adult videos but I'm not too certain how accurate that info is, doubt such a machine could have worked though as there's many different ways to censor whether it's pixel mosaic, just not showing certain parts during certain scenes or using some more exotic stuff like the "light-saber" like glow effects of some early 1990's media or having it being covered by fog or otherwise blacked out or blurred/obscured in some way.

(Also varies a bit just how much censoring is used from sometimes next to nothing and then heavily censored and then maybe pubic hair or the ass is OK, heh no idea how those decency laws work or what the actual requirements are.)

Brave Soul is uncensored, was licensed by Jast a couple of years back (It's a fairly old game, mix of visual novel and light JRPG mechanics.) but there's not that many different scenes for each of the heroines.

It kinda is although I do not know how well tagged some of the earlier uploads might be.

In any case in general if a upload has the "USA Released" tag it's generally uncensored barring any special circumstances (Minori for example employs minimal pixelization for "fear" of reverse import - similar to the Japanese "hentai" video industry these last couple of years I believe? - and some studios no longer have the uncensored material due to the age of some of these titles.) and if it's not licensed well per law it has to be censored either via mosaic or similar or by simply not showing certain parts during certain scenes.

EDIT: Quality can be pretty varied though, especially for some of the earlier Jast licenses where it almost feels like they doodled something resembling genitals back onto the CG art.

(Granted if it's going to be censored anyway some studios don't put much detail on these body parts in the first place.)

Why the first game is all age while second game has 18+ content. Oh and second game has "yuri rape" tag

Jast localized the all-ages version of the first game instead of the original 18+ one, there's requests for them localizing the 18+ version too but I don't think they've confirmed if that's planned or not, all-ages release has some extra content far as I know but obviously no adult scenes.

For this game Jast is localizing both the 18+ version which they've now released and in Fall sometime they are planning to release the all-ages version which if I understood correctly once again has some additional content not in the original adult version of the game.

I think my first Eroge game was either Knights of Xentar or Nocturnal Illusions, this and Little My Maid were the first of the more recent games from Jast.

(And Water-Closet but the less said about that game the better, Jast has changed a bit over the years ha ha.)

I'm still hoping some of these will be translated properly and intact but I doubt Jast or MangaGamer would do something like that as there's probably very little profit in re-releasing these games again even if they were uncut.

(As a fairly new company I also assume Hirameki did not have access to the better VN's due to license costs and other hindrances so the games themselves might not be ranked too highly but I could be wrong.)

As Ivan said they did I think two or three actual VN's most of which saw several cuts (Tea Society of a Witch even had two routes cut entirely.) and then for many other games they had this autoplay DVD thing where the game was playing as a interactive movie and you had to keep track of various passwords to save the game and get back to that particular combination of choices again.

I don't remember Chain as being censored?

I know Jast has previously had some titles modified such as XChange 3 (One of the endings featured a small girl which was altered.) and Family Project (Which after the discussion that sparked they were more open with what alterations had been done to the games.) but I don't think this game had any cuts or at least I don't remember any, Eve Burst Error had the sex scenes removed but from what I've read the story wasn't affected much at all by that decision.

(Compared to the cuts Hirameki did for their AnimePlay series were entire routes were removed.)

EDIT: Ah the preview image shows a censored picture (I believe that scene is animated.), there might have been one or two scenes with pixelated features come to think of it but they were fixed in the update released shortly after the game came out.

EDIT: Oh I think I remember now, even with the patch the affected scenes starts out pixelated but as soon as the animation begin it's removed and displayed uncensored.

The patch is a full replacement of data.xp3 which contains most of the game, thus the file size.

As for the game I finished everything that seems to be translated for now unless I missed some specific combination of choices leading to some special scenes.

(There were a few small variations in some of them - one even got the main guy killed in a bad-end like way, though avoiding death seems difficult so far.)

That teacher seems like the most normal of these three so far, but I'd imagine she too gets pretty messed up (Even more than how it was towards the end of the translated routes.) just like the other two.

Short game and the "Yandere" thing is taken to the extreme but I had fun with it although some scenes can be a bit brutal.

(And the main character is a bit of a idiot whom only noticed something being a bit off near the end of the game, ha ha.)
