  1. Well either way there will be no second season, which's a shame because I'm definitely interested in how the story will end but I'm not going to read the manga. I guess I'll search for a summary of the manga or something. Next Anime I plan to watch is Nisekoi. I was told it's funny as fuck... but then I discovered its harem tag so I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it due to my hate towards harem stuff.

Edit: So after checking out a manga summary it seems that they mainly focused on the other characters and the relationship of the main couple makes no progress whatsoever. At the ending though suddenly it does move on all of a sudden. Unfortunately I'm only interested in the main couple so the manga can piss off.

Edit2: Finished Nisekoi. Story was shit but you gotta love dat humor: weak 8/10

  2. And once again I managed to finish another anime. This time it's called Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, a romance focused anime. It was overall really good because the female protagonist had a realistic mindset and was damn enjoyable. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the ending. The last episode felt like a normal one because it didn't end in a special way. They also introduced a lot of new characters and their problems near the end but they didn't have enough time (obviously) to solve them. You can clearly see that they planned to make a second season BUT apparently the anime wasn't really popular so no chances for a second season.

Also, I realized that my tiny anime reviews could be annoying so tell me if I should stop.

    7/10

  3. Finished an anime called K (http://myanimelist.net/anime/14467/K) and it was okay-ish. I started to watch it because the female main character has heterochromia (best genetic defect ever <3) but unfortunately she was rather uninteresting and felt more like a side character who was only there for some moe scenes and fanservice. The story was not totally rubbish but well, let's say it wasn't the anime's strongest point haha. The art and animations were fucking amazing though: 6/10

  4. "Seems like something enjoyable to watch"

That's what I thought as well but unfortunately it was boring as fuck. And I still didn't get what the anime wanted to tell me. Well most likely it's one of those anime you either like or hate.

  5. Three comments in a row and still not afraid. I just got a free download code for Battle Realms (gog.com)... in case you're interested.

  6. Oh and I also started to watch Nodame Cantabile (or whatever it's called) and it's shit... 4 more episodes to go but I highly doubt it'll get better. I may finish it today.

  7. I finished the Little Busters anime yesterday. First season was really mediocre but it was fun to see the characters again. Unfortunately my favourite heroine Kud-Wafuu-chan didn't get a whole lot of screentime and she was always in the background... which makes sense considering that the anime combined all the routes. Her route was shit as always though haha. I mean it does make a little bit more sense after you read through Refrain but since you obviously don't know about the world when reading the route you can't enjoy it. Decent anime but the humor parts were golden: 7/10

The second season was way better although the beginning was rather slow and uninteresting. After that it had a lot of strong scenes and I felt they did a good job with the adaption. With this said, I can't remember the visual novel that good tbh but I know I gave it only 7.5/10 because Refrain was good but the characters route were horseshit. As for the anime, really good, I liked it: 8/10

  8. And once again you posted your response to my previous comment on your profile instead on mine. It's nice to hear that we're in the same boat when it comes to working hours although your shift is much more annoying because you can't sleep late nor can you do a whole lot after work. So yeah, sucks to be you I guess.

As for the Tayutama anime, I did watch it but not recently (iirc 2 years ago). The problem was that MAL decided to not list Tayutama in my anime list despite saying it's on my list at the actual anime site. I never noticed that though. What I had to do was to change its status to something else and then back to completed and suddenly it's on my list. Stupid MAL.

Also, tomorrow I don't have to work, fuck yeah~

  9. Today's the fourth day in a row where I had to work from 5:00-15:00... and tomorrow it's going to be the same shit again... pls Desi... give me some nice words of motivation or something...

  10. Another was indeed a little bit disappointing because it was presented as horror but turned out to be mystery with some gore. Although I don't remember what happened in the anime at all so I might be wrong haha. I gave a 7/10 as well btw.

  11. So I decided to watch the little busters anime despite having finished the visual novel already and I'm at the point where they show kud's body painting scene. Unfortunately it didn't have the same magic to it like in the visual novel. Too bad, it was one of my favourite scenes of the game (and best scene of kud's shitty route).

  12. That definitely would explain a lot. Although it's rather stupid to choose a director who doesn't like the main heroine and will change the anime to take the focus off her. Just imagine me as a director for a f/sn anime. You wouldn't see a whole lot of Shirou because I hate him. But without that piece of shit the story wouldn't work so taking the focus off of him would automatically destroy the anime. And once again I've no idea what I wrote at the beginning of this comment so I'll just hit "post message", go me!

  13. So that ponytail girl was the actual main heroine but the anime director changed that? Holy shit. That's why I hate adaptions. Also I think I started to read its manga adaption ages ago but never finished it because it was full of fan service. Funny how I forgot about that "negative" experience and watched the anime anyway.

Next anime I plan to watch are Nodame Cantabile and Akatsuki no Yona. And there's also of course Psycho Pass.

  14. Finished an anime called "Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo", pretty mediocre show overall, wouldn't recommend to watch. It had some good humor parts but the serious stuff didn't work out and it had the worst love triangle relationship I've ever seen. Basically one of the two girls who were in love with the protagonist didn't even get a chance to confess because when she tried she was always interrupted by stupid things or she decided against confessing all of the sudden. So at the end she didn't have any impact on the love between the protagonist and that other girl... what's the point of her then? I don't get it - 6/10

  15. Well their age wasn't a major problem to be honest but it still didn't make any sense to use teenagers for that kind of story. I highly recommend you to watch the anime though because despite it flaws it'll reach your heart for sure. I also changed its score to 9/10 btw because even a day after watching it I still had to think about specifc scenes and had a weird feeling in my stomach. If I think about it my voting system is really stupid because all the anime I gave 9/10 "provided" me with that weird feeling. Well I guess if an anime is able to make me feel like that then it has to be really good. So maybe my voting system isn't that unlogical.

And if you're looking for more a similiar anime but with adults then there's always this Nodame Cantabile anime which I'll probably check out as well.

Edit: Fuck! I've to go to work! Stupid Desi, because of you I may be late =(

  17. Well usually I stick to food I know as well but sometimes I feel the urge to try something new. Most of the times it's not worth it though but recently for example I found potato chips with rosemary flavour and holy shit are they delicious. And the best part, they are not expensive.

Oh and I think you'll enjoy Another a lot. It's not an outstanding anime but it combines mystery and horror pretty good. I hope you won't go insane when seeing its famous teacher scene haha.

  18. That feeling when you ordered a rather expensive pizza and it tastes like shit but you're still going to eat it because it feels like a waste of money otherwise.

This must have been the best introduction of a comment ever lol. So I just finished Wold Children (yeah I really did it) and it was an enjoyable movie. I really liked how different it was but unfortunately it didn't click with me. I guess it was too unspectacular. What I did like was how they used music and animations instead of conversations but at specific points it would have been better to let the characters talk for once haha. Oh and that woman was crazy. Walking in gumboots while being barfoot is suicide. Tried it once...the pain dude, the pain...

  19. I've no idea why you can't see our anime compatibility either but it does make sense to give you a fat unknown because our anime lists share like 15 anime and calculating our compatibility based on 15 titles is kinda silly. And I'm pretty sure that whopping 89% will change into something like 70% eventually.

The female lead of Kimi ni Todoke does indeed behave like Hanako a couple of times but I wouldn't really compare them with each other because the mindset of both characters is just way too different. Also there's a second season but I'm scared to watch it because it appears to be one of those boring "back-and-forth love-triangle" kind of stories.

True, Ami was like the only person of the anime who always knew what was going on but due to that she felt kinda distance from the other characters.

Oh I am interested in Wolf Children but I'm still waiting for the right time to watch it. I mean I can watch it at one evening so I might as well wait for a day when I'm in high spirits.

  20. Well not sure if it's the right choice but I'm going for the Stand Alone Complex adaption only because apparently it's the best one and it has two seasons so it should be able to cover up the original story quite nicely... or at least that's what I'm hoping for. Actually, I may use the word adaption but I don't even know if the anime is based on a novel or not. Go me.

Psycho Pass is another anime on my plan to watch list so be sure to give me a little review once you finished it.

Also today was the first day since ages where I woke up having an hangover. Wasn't the best idea to drink three kinds of alcohol during the evening considering my relatively low tolerance for alcohol. Although one sort was really weird, spicy pomegranate.

  21. I'm something like an assistant. And I wouldn't recommend you to watch Guilty Crown anyway because it's not really worth the time (too many flaws) unless you're looking for a mediocre anime to hype yourself up for an amazing anime you're planning to watch afterwards. Reminds me of:

    - amazing OP but the anime seems to be shit, I'll watch it nevertheless because I want to watch Ghost in a Shell next (seems to be my kind of anime).
  22. And sorry for that insane amount of comments (at least for me it's insane considering that we write like once a week or something haha) but whatever.

  23. Just finished Guilty Crown and I really don't know what to think about the anime. The first 10 episodes were pretty bad because the story didn't go anywhere and the character interactions felt awkward quite often. The only reason why I continued to watch it was the cute/hot female main character and her songs. Although I've to admit she and the protagonist were rather weak characters, your usual dense coward guy and a hot mascot. Best character by far was that scar face villian dude. So up to episode 10 it was a meh experience. But then (fortunately) the story improved a lot because the protagonist turned into a badass (in like 10 seconds lol) and the ending wasn't amazing (there was way more room for emotions in that crystal scene but they kept it rather short/plain) but it definitely fit the story. And the anime did touch me from time to time as well. Not sure but I guess it was overall a good anime. Shitty beginning but way better second half: 7/10

  24. ...

But he decided to clean the mess up while I was away and here's the plot twist. He can't see blood. So now I had a badly bleeding person on the ground and a moon-pale workmate. Great. So after the abulance arrived everything went smoothly but I had to send him home because he was mentaly fucked. Then I had to organize another person for him which took me 30 more min. And now this nice bottle of beer is winking at me so today I'll most likely use "unlimited alcohol works". Not but seriously, fuck.
