Thanks for replying and for the info, I managed to get most of them to run, except for the ones that need applocale. Hope they add a region locale function in future releases of wine.

Hey guys, i've a question to ask you. Is anyone here familiar enough with wine to lend me a hand with running some VNs, I'd be very grateful for a little advice. And thanks for the info on the sites, found some good info on the paulthetalll website.

Everyone has their preference lol, I used to use bootcamp too, but I couldn't access my mac files, so I had to go with a vm. I also like the idea of running win and osx at the same time. Unfortunately i've been rather busy, so I haven't had a chance to port games in some time. I've been kinda busy getting emanga, it works especially well with android phones.

Thanks again for the answers yamete and dan, I'll give those options a try. What sort of mac are you guys using? I have a 2010 MB and am also currently using Parallels with XP to play eroge, it works pretty smoothly even with other apps, although the bottom can heat up a little. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions guys, i'll try porting games again with wineskin.

Haha, thanks for replying yamete. You've definitely got a point about eroge on OSX being very uncommon, but I still support the idea of being able to play them on a mac as easily as on a pc. I actually haven't done any porting of any eroge for a while now (last one i did was kanon but i probably lost it), but if you're still interested, maybe we can try a port a few games properly? Let me know what you think. kupo~

Hey everyone, my first post on this forum, now lets get to business, This will probably only interest you if you have a mac, but anyones welcome to read lol, so i just wondering if anyone knows/ or is interested in playing eroge on OS X, Im already doing so with a virtual machine (parallels) but also found out recently that I can run windows program (eroge) with wineskin winery and make them independently run without the use of a virtual machine and make them work as a mac app. I've managed to port Kanon, but its a little buggy. Maybe we can port some games 2 mac? idk Anyone want to know mo
