    Do you play VNs using a walkthrough?

    That game, I loved it when i first played it, But i had to uninstall due to techinical issues, when i got it again i couldnt skip previous viewed scenes :(

     

    I would love to try and get 100% in it, But i can foresee alot of clicking.

     

    Just press ctrl, it will skip everything. Or just unmark the "Stop on unread text" settings.

     

     

    And, no, I do not like to use walkthroughs. The only game I really needed one (ONE ~Kagayaku Kisetsu e~) I could not find any...

    Not really. The anime completely lost the point of the game.

    Play Shiori's route, her ending explains a little more about what is happening.

    If you still do not understand:

     

    Possible spoilers:

    All of those incomprehensive facts are "miracles". Ayu still had a last wish because of that Angel Doll, she said she would like someone in need of a miracle to have it.

    So, yeah, everything was a miracle the protagonist asked for. There is always a white screen near the ending when he says something like "And my last wish is...", I think it explains everything.

    In the anime, all of those miracles happen without a reason for it. At the most it explains Ayu's end a little better.

    That's the thing I don't get. You're saying that music isn't your thing but on the other hand you wanted to learn an instrument.

    Well I'm probably just too dumb to get it...

     

    Uh, yes, sorry, I did not express myself clearly after all (I think there is something else I should practice...). Let me see if I can put it in better words...

    I used to want to learn an instrument (flute), I was like 3 years old or something. However, I ended up finding some other things I liked the most.

    Even though I still kind of wanted to learn how to play it, I was already taking ballet and painting classes. So, I almost forgot about music and now I think that is not exactly my thing.

    If someday I happen have enough time/motivation and if I really wanted to learn how to play an instrument, I would choose a wind instrument.

    I just do not have any plans to learn it for now.

    Not really, I do like to learn new things, I like to give my best and finally be able to notice the improvement.

    I just have other "priorities", and music is not really my thing, as I said.

    And, of course, dancing/painting takes a lot of time and I do not have enough free time to start learning something else for now.

     

    I hope this clarifies how I think and why I do not plan to start playing an instrument.

    It is not really an illusion, I know very well I will not get anything from it. It is mostly because I do not have enough motivation to learn how to play an instrument/how to sing.

    I am more interested in dancing and drawing/painting than music, and I am studying/practicing both of them. So... Yeah, I think I know how hard it is to learn something and how much time I need to dedicate to any of those activities, specially because I am a perfectionist.

    It REALLY depends how the plot develops.

    Some VNs like Suika were extremely boring for me, this one in particular really had a lot of things to develop and an interesting premise, but the real plot is not properly explained and everything just does not make sense after all.

    Some others about the same lenght as Suika (10-30 hours), could explain everything and I never got bored while playing it (Chaos;Head, Katahane, and Symphonic Rain as some examples).

    Even some really short ones can be boring if there is no real plot (or good H-Scenes, if it happens to be a nukige).

    I think I will vote for 20h just because my favourite ones are about this lenght.

    I can "tolerate" some of them, at least when they are not annoying or extremely childish, but I do not think I really like any of them, unless some characters like Phorni (Symphonic Rain) or Coco (Katahane) count as loli, but I still cannot see them like that.

    ... And... And... I prefer big breasts...

    I just found this thread I think I should introduce myself... or at least I really wanted to.

    I am Hiromi (Yes, that is my real name, I would usually use a nickname but whatever) I am 17 and I am a first-year computer science student.

    I love eroges and I have always wanted to talk about them with someone, but since I am extremely antisocial I thought this forum would be a nice place.

    My favourite Visual Novel so far is Chaos;Head, and my favourite eroge is probably Kanon or Kira Kira.

    My hobbies are... Well, eroge, sometimes I watch anime (my favourite one is "NHK ni Youkosu!"), and I like to draw ugly chibis... And that is all, I guess.

    Uh... what?

    I am a girl, I play eroge, I do like H-Scenes and I play some nukiges ("Goshujin-sama Daisuki" was the most awesome experience for me, just saying).

    I do not see any "problem" with this, and I am sure a lot of other girls do the same. Just that.
