Actually it's more like Purple Software indirectly push Nekonyan to make Aoi Tori available by April 2024, so Nekonyan decided to just go back into the original engine because they have been encountered difficulty in their porting work. So if anything else, actually it give hope for the release in the near future instead of unknown future.
