Wouldn't that take more work when you have to update the other part? Also that may get more confusing if say the overall progress is fully translated, but it's not edited. Giving the impression that the Visual novel is completed?

Seems like a decent suggestion, but you're ignoring one huge factor.. :effort:
And it might be a bit harder to read with partial red everywhere, not sure.
Does it take more effort to color parts instead of the whole sentence? That's all I can see that you may need to put more effort in, you do it so you have more experience with it.

It looks like all of that just happened, within the last week.
Might it look better if it was:

Another example:

Just a suggestion sometimes its hard to tell if a route was finished when mixed in to the other already completed routes. Or it seems like a patch just came out when it's been out for a while.

be a man! start learning japanese. do something. 45 min per day, it is not a big deal.
i haven't seen good online course in english though.
This may help with learning Japanese especially Tae Kim's Guide. The "Heisig Remembering Kanji 1" may work depending on the person.
Also Aaeru didn't really write all the steps. People submitted stuff.

He said Miu's route was the reason to why he really wanted to start subbing it, Than retires when it's the last route to be translated >.> in fairness she does have the 2nd longest route in terms of line amounts.
What's even more suspicion is he said he's retiring the day before a patch was suppose to be released. I hope someone picks it up just so we can see if he really did translate the lines. He may just disappear, Who knows? In any case, whatever... I don't think he was that good any way.

He's been retiring since the beginning of this month... it's incredibly annoying but it can't be helped unless they find someone to start subbing the last route.
Lol my mistake I thought ryu didn't fix it, read it wrong, But I also don't really believe it's actually translated that much either.

Nah, that patch was just a bit of her route. This patch is the whole route. Unless it also contains the other routes except Miu's... but they didn't say so.
I'm talking about the Valentines giveaway where they gave her route out as a prize to 3 people.
In case you didn't realize, it's a patch for only Elina, no other routes are in it.

How can they possibly think they can get young girls to play this? Young girls don't want to play male characters having romances with girl's they want to BE A GIRL and have a romance with a sexy vampire that's why Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom was such a success. Make an Otome game if you want to do that, or a game that isn't focused on romance. Why would anyone want a watered down version of an VN?
This is like taking some romance out and adding explosions to a chick flick so they can appeal to the male audience too.
