  1. I tried to make it work, but I couldn't. Just replacing Imaadp32.acm and Msadp32.acm doesn't work and I can't install adpcm drivers. There is no file named mmdriver.inf in my System32, so I downloaded it and then tried to install, but there is error message that there are no drivers to install in this folder (I put it in System32) or that it's not 64bit version (it was supposed to be). I honestly have no idea what to do anymore
  2. Yes, I've set my locale to japanese. I tried changing to english (USA and UK), tried with current files in system32 and older ones, but I'm still getting error message. Looks like it just won't work on my PC (or maybe there is some kind of miraculous solution which doesn't include me changing my W7 to other version, but it's just unknown yet... maybe).
  3. Unfortunately it still doesn't work I copied them to system32 and replaced previous ones, but there is still error message and no voice or sound effects...
  4. @Helvetica Standard So those are the only options? That's... sad. Finally buying new PC with W7 instead of WXP only to have another problems. Oh well, I will have to do something about it someday. Thanks for answer! @hyromaru Yes, I tried it already, as well as changing some files in system32, but nothing works.
  5. When I try to run Family Project and Snow Sakura, there is a message "There will be no voice and sound effects because the system does not support DirectSound". I tried to look for solution but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know how to fix it? I'm using Windows 7.

    I/O

I have the same problem, does anyone know how to fix it?
  7. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you at all. I just missunderstood that you finished the whole game and then said it was a waste of time, which made me wonder why wouldn't you just drop it half-way then. Anyway, thanks a lot for recomendations.
  8. It sure does, but I still like collecting all CGs and stuff and for me just skipping through it feels offending to people who made it. But it makes me wonder, if one's not like me, why read to the end something that one doesn't like? Like you with Family Project. Also the more I hear about Muv-Luv, the more I want to read it. Let it be summer holiday finally, I need time for something this long...
  9. Half of otoge I played felt like a waste of time, but I just can't leave game unfinished once I start reading it, and I need to play all routes and get all CGs. It's a curse of being a completionist...
  10. Being open-minded is great! I think that I'd miss a lot of good stories if I focused on just one genre. ...Though I'd probably also save myself from being in serious need of brain bleach from time to time. But on the other hand what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
  11. Well, I mostly don't care about genre as long as game is interesting so I want to play TnC someday, but story there is pretty dark, which is why I can't read it now when I want light-hearted love-com. And I'm not searching for otome games for one simple reason - there are none in english that I haven't already played, TSR included. Anyway I started one game from Sono Hanabira series and My Girlfriend is the President and I like them both so far, it's exactly what I wanted to read.
  12. Until next patch is out, there is nothing I haven't already read in any of Majikoi games. I still believe there will be next patch and someday I'll finish playing it. It may be naive, but I'd rather be naive than depressed that I won't be able to finish one of my favourite vn's.
  13. Actually, it's a she ^^" I know it's not obvious because there aren't many girls playing eroge, just wanted to make it clear, though it doesn't make any difference. I already read Dra†KoI and Wanko to Kurasou, but I'll look into other titles you recomended. Thanks a lot!
  14. Thank you, I don't mind yuri and graphics are really cute, and it's short so I'll read it next. Just want to ask, is it necessary to read them in order or can I just read ones that interest me the most first?
  15. Thank you for quick reply! Looks really nice, I'll start reading it after downloading.
  16. Hi! Lately I'm too busy or tired to read something that makes you read without a break until you finish it, so I need a recomendation of some light VN. By light I mean no heavy drama, lot of action and complicated story with a lot of plot-twists. Basically, just something normal from genres slice-of-life, comedy, romance, where you don't have to think while reading and can stop/resume anytime without being worried about forgeting something important. I only want it to be entertaining and have likeable heroines, more focus on romance (without waiting God knows how long until protagonist and h
  17. Thanks for a quick reply. IIRC Little Busters was made by Key, so I bet it's good. I guess I'll go find a torrent for Majikoi S, but I'll wait for the next patch and go to read LB now.
  18. Hi, I'm new here, although I'm not really new to vn-related stuff. I really want to read vn similar to Majikoi (a lot of action, comedy, some drama would be good as well, and if possible a likeable protagonist). Can someone recommend me a vn like that in English? I also have a question about Majikoi S. I didn't read the whole Majikoi since it's not fully translated, so I want to ask, if reading this what is already translated in Majikoi S will spoil me what happens in Majikoi true route? Sorry if there are any mistakes. English is not my first language. I'm good at reading but I suck at w
