It is a world very different from ours, a world in which magic exists, a world where peasants labor under the burden of heavy taxes imposed upon them by the unfair rulers of the land. Although the commoners have a difficult lot, there are those among them with the strength to use his sword and make a name for himself -- an adventurer. To be an adventurer is the dream of every peasant.

The story details the journey of a young man who was raised in the countryside of Souvania, on the continent of Valencia. Disowned by his own father and forced to make his way in life, he chooses to become a Hunter, a mercenary who accepts jobs for a variety of adventures. Heading into town to officially join the Hunter’s Guild with his dragon Shell at his side, he happens across a mysterious girl who looks strikingly like the Moon Goddess.

The Moon Goddess... Ever since he was young, a beautiful girl appears before him on nights of a full moon. Because of the mysterious manner of her appearance, he gave her her unique name. With the mysterious girl Alicia and dragon Shell at his side, as well as new characters he will join with later, our hero embarks on many bold adventures. But will he ever be able to solve the bizarre mystery of the beautiful Moon Goddess standing in the lake...?

Most people probably have played this game by now since it's older, but I'm going to review it anyway. This is such a refreshing game to play. Most eroge games have the simple format of reading blocks of text with a picture in the background and making the occasional choice. This one emphasizes game play. It plays like Legend of Zelda mixed with a little Final Fantasy. the leveling and inventory systems are excellent, especially for an eroge game with gameplay. The party members all help, not all are terribly interesting but you can't get that from everything. And then you get bonus content when you beat it so this actually has re playability. Honestly, if you've played eroge games for a while and want something new, this is a great place to look.

Brave Soul is uncensored, was licensed by Jast a couple of years back (It's a fairly old game, mix of visual novel and light JRPG mechanics.) but there's not that many different scenes for each of the heroines.

    • 'I could still live in peace... if I never learned the truth...'

This tale is set in the haunted Ayakoji Mansion, nestled away deep in a dense, dark forest. However, they too are engulfed by the innumerable horrors lurking within before long...

    • Marcel is the illegitimate son of the famous actor Georges de Saint-Rémy, a celebrated virtuoso on the stage, and a notorious rake with a penchant for sleeping with other men's wives. Owing to his father's seedy reputation and his own meek, socially awkward mannerisms, Marcel is bullied relentlessly by the other boys at his Parisian school, who seem determined to make his life miserable.

At the beginning of autumn in 1896, Marcel's brigand of a father becomes embroiled in a particularly salacious scandal, which is widely circulated in tabloids across Paris and beyond.

Fearful for her son's welfare, and desperate for him to have a respite from their family's continued drama, Marcel's long-suffering mother pulls Marcel from his school, and instead chooses to send him to her older sister's school in Myennes, deep in the French countryside. There is a catch in this seemingly innocuous plan, however. Marcel's formidable aunt, Albertine, owns an all-girls' establishment, which has never before admitted any male students. To attend his aunt's school, Marcel is bidden to dress and act like a girl – which he does, albeit, begrudgingly.

Marcel never much fit in with his male classmates at his Parisian school, but he's similarly fearful that his female classmates in Myenes will also shun him. Uneasy and afraid, Marcel expects only the worst when he arrives at his aunt's school...

Which is why he finds it so very surprising when, rather than being treated with scorn, his new classmates instead seem rather fond of him.

During his stay in the countryside, Marcel meets four girls who express an interest in him: the quiet, inscrutable Luce; the fiery troublemaker, Claudine; the elegant pianist, Celine; and the class dunce, Mirabel.

As the autumn months pass, Marcel grows closer to these four girls – but which one will he develop the strongest bond with? That is up for the reader to decide.
    • Coming back home after week-long business trip (convention), Sam can't help but sense that something isn't quite right the moment he set foot inside his house. Is it the fact that his newlywed wife was sleeping in the afternoon rather than waiting impatiently for his return? Or is it because she was rather evasive the moment he questioned her about it? Or maybe it is simply his weary mind playing tricks on him?

The latter seems like the most compelling answer, or so he thought, but as he finds himself gazing at a selfie his wife sent him during his business trip--a selfie in her lingerie-- he notices something he didn't catch when he first received it; the presence of three inconspicuous fingertips peeking at the edge of the frame.
