@Ivan, @anyone who has attempted to run this title

FYI: This won't run for me. When I activate the .exe file I get a dialogue box that, according to my iPhones camera based translator says "The game is not installed properly. Please Install it again."

As far as I can tell, the sengokux.exe and bootmenu is checking for certain install paths for .dlls and .xmls that are probably included in a fresh install of the game, but are missing from the available game files so it thinks the game isn't installed. Probably need the install.exe to get it to run properly. Cri. 

Yeah, my bad. Previous release was broken. Fixed now.

Anyone else been able to get it to run? I'm still getting the Boot Error: Game needs to be reinstalled message with the new files. Made sure to clear out any of the old version files then re-downloaded. 😭

I literally just double-checked it on brand fresh Windows installation and it works fine straight out of box.
If you can't get it to run, problem must be from your PC (maybe some leftover files/registry entries?)

Any clue where to find those hold out files or registry entries? I'm still getting the same "Not installed properly. Install again." message.

Do you have the original installation media so we can try do a proper install ourselves?

No luck. I have scoured all the file and registry locations anything could possibly be hiding and removed them. I even removed an old registry for Koihime Musou/BaseSon just in case! I also tried downloading both the "Free" version and the Premium version just to make sure there weren't any issues coming from that angle.  It has not resolved the "Boot Error: Game is not installed correctly, please reinstall" issue. The only thing I haven't done at this point is do a fresh install of Windows, which is not something I'm willing to do for a single game. Thanks for trying to help, it's hard enough trying to get ahold of games like this as it is and it's appreciated that these games are posted here!

Long shot, but have you tried placing downloaded game in some other folder, like C:/Games/SengokuKoihime, or D:/Koihime , and run from there.

Other than that, I'm literally out of ideas why it doesn't work for you.
