Seems like the story has several chapters inside and those chapter have diferent protagonists. There are 3 female protagonist and 2 male ones so i don't think you can avoid them if you play the game.

The VN is separated into chapters with different MCs who are either male or female. You cannot chose. All of them are MCs for the chapter.

As for the real mc, I would like to say this but unfortunately it would be spoiling a lot of Subahibi so I'll just refrain from saying that. Although let me give a little hint though, that namely the female MCs here (Zakuro and Hasaki) was what I could call them as POV character for a whole chapter. Have fun.
