Sword Maiden of Azure Dragon

  • Language: English

Conflicts continue to rage in a world where the gods have fallen asleep! The “Demon Dragon Emperor”, who leads the various races of subhumans, and the “Holy Gods”, who rule mankind, fought a fierce battle for many years on the western continent, and were defeated at the last minute. …… A few years later, a black-haired sword princess with the blood of the “Demon Dragon Emperor” crossed the sea from the far east! She sometimes turned out to be charming, sometimes cruel and impermanent, and had thrilling adventures with her unique friends! Some called her the “Divine Dragon Saintess”, others cursed her as the “Evil Dragon Witch”, but most people respectfully called her the “Blue Dragon Sword Princess”!

    • The protagonist, Canalière, is an adventurer belonging to a guild.
She accepts a request to exterminate goblins and visits the remote village of Slag.
There are two reasons for the mission:
To exterminate the goblins that are ravaging the village, and to search for her sister, who went missing into the forest on the same request.
Slag village is a closed village that worships a local deity called the "Forest King."
The villagers are somewhat distant and hold a special fear of the forest.
The guild's intermediary gives her a small black box, which he says is a pass to enter the forest.
Without explaining its meaning, Canalière spends the night at an inn.
The next morning, as soon as she steps into the forest, she encounters a tattered adventurer.
It was one of the extermination party members who had gone ahead.
Deep in the forest, the adventurers had been annihilated.
Furthermore, she witnesses goblins trying to abduct a female adventurer.
But what was strange was that the goblins were speaking human language.
What was supposed to be a simple extermination mission turns out to be something else entirely, with a different intention and order existing deep within the forest.
The whereabouts of her sister, the meaning of the black box, and the goblin who manipulates words—
Canalière steps closer to the truth of the forest.
    • There was a war called the "Great War," a long-lasting war between the "Solaha Kingdom" and the "Empire."
Facing the Empire, which summoned demons using forbidden magic and overwhelmed its opponents with unknown forces, the Solaha Kingdom barely achieved victory by utilizing military power and wisdom.
Shortly after the war ended, the emperor passed away, and the Empire quietly vanished from history.
The orphaned survivors from the Empire were taken in by the compassionate Solaha priest, "Ron," and were sheltered in an orphanage called "Azure."
More than 20 years later, the orphans, ridiculed as "LOSERS" and facing discrimination, lived quietly in a corner of Solaha in poverty.
One day, while secretly searching for the Empire's heritage, orphan Nina encounters a "demon," believed to be a survivor of the war, in an unexplored cave.
At the same time, various incidents unfold, gradually devouring the orphans’ daily lives...
In the "time loop," will they grasp hope or despair? The story of defying fate surrounding "Azure" was just about to begin.
