Our protagonist protects a man from an out of control car, but gets hit and loses his memory in the process. The man he saved happens to be the owner of a jazz bar, sótano. Out of sympathy for his hapless savior, the man decides to set him up with a job and a place to live.
From the outside, sótano looks like a cozy little jazz bar, but behind the scenes they solve problems that the police and legitimate detective agencies won’t touch. The staff there give our protagonist the name "Haru". He gradually makes his way deeper into the organization, and the hearts and lives of the staff, while working as an apprentice bartender. But just who is Haru really...?

The game picks up directly after the end of the first game taking place on a mysterious Caribbean island where Heileen was shipwrecked with her friends. Heileen soon discovers a deck of tarot cards representative of the seven deadly sins and the seven heavenly virtues. The cards have the power to change both her dreams and her reality, and will help Heileen discover many hidden things from her past:
- How exactly did her parents die? Was it an accident, or not...?
- Who is Marcus?
- What role did Jack have in her life?
- And ultimately, what does she want to be? A saint, or a sinner?
The game features 15 unique endings and an enhanced version of the original quest system in Heileen with 20 quests.

Over the past few months a series of bombings have shook Edo to its very foundations, citizens riot in the capital as more perish each day. A terrorist group wanting Edo to once again become the Empire of Japan have claimed responsibility.
They claim if the Lord Regent is not deposed within the next ten days they will release a larger attack on the capital.
Asumi, a young Justicar, grew up among the old order of Assassins and has proven herself an adept death dealer countless times over the past few years. Now considered to be one of the lethal black cloaks, she was given the chance to serve by the Lord Regent himself.
Kami, another Justicar of Edo has tracked some of the terrorists back to an Academy on the fringes of the wastes, that specialises in training the best in martial combat. Unable to make any further progress she sends word to Asumi.
Acting as if she were a new student, Asumi en-rolls in the Academy to investigate the terrorists further.
