I have a problem when trying to run the game. I have everything installed. Followed the patching instructions to the letter. It opens fine, I can check out the menus and they work like they should, but when I press start to go play the game, I get anywhere from 1 to 5 lines of text before it crashes. The only thing...unusual, that I've noticed. Is that I don't have the default install directory being at "C:\Program Files\Aioshiro". It's where all my other non-.iso/.mds/etc. virtual novels are stored. They all work fine. My computer has its system locale set to Japanese, and I even tried using the AppLocale on it, problem wasn't resolved. Help in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

create a folder here, "C:\Program Files\Aioshiro", move all files into it... that should fix it...

Weird.... if you already have the system locale set to Japanese that means we're going to have to try some other things.

Have you tried running the .exe file as an administrator? Just right click - compatibility - run as an administrator.

If that doesn't work, try running in compatibility mode for windows xp. Right click - compatibility - run this program windows xp

If those two options didn't work, i would suggest reinstalling and installing it to C:\Aoishiro.

It worked, thanks. Can't believe I didn't try this. And I'm pretty good with computers. :

Well apparently not. Anyway, enjoy aoishiro, it's one of the most beautiful visual novels I've ever seen.
