It's early autumn, and the leaves are beginning to brown. Meike, a young woman who lives and works in the German city of Augsburg, wishes she could enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the balmy weather, but she has a problem.

Meike's parents are determined to set her up with the wealthy young entrepeneur, Walter: a man who, at the age of thirty-two, successfully founded his own company, and who exudes self-confidence. Meike's mother, in particular, is determined to see her daughter married, and Meike is being harangued into a relationship with this man she does not love.

Tired and stressed, Meike decides to escape Walter one day by ducking into a quaint Victorian-inspired café where her friend, Henny, works...

The protagonist, “Leon,” spent his childhood in an orphanage in a rural village with other orphans, the girl “Sara” and the boy “Jake.”
However, they eventually part ways. Years later, as an adult, Leon coincidentally reunites with Sara, who has grown into a beautiful and voluptuous woman.
Conflicted by the changes but comforted by their childhood bond, Leon decides to live with Sara.
Initially reserved, Leon gradually accepts living with Sara, whose essence remains unchanged from their past.
