false antivirus alarms?

i was trying to run Minna Daisuki Kozukuri Banchou but avg said that it was a virus this happens from time to time with visual novels iv heard its usually a false alarm but is there any way to check? i found this site here but it only checks files less than 64mb

Yeah, nothing on here is a virus. They're all false positives. You don't need to worry.

This. I basically downloaded nearly every visual novel from this site (after the destruction of megaupload) and my laptop is still running.
